mfk
As an anarchistic person by nature, I don't like being told how to play movies, or what to play them on, so I built my own little video server, it has all the codecs necessary to play any DVD and lots of other fun features. I actually am waiting for a reasonably priced blu-ray DVD/RW to come out for my video server as I already have a double sided burner in the machine. There are several Linux (and some Windoze) based oprions for playing, streaming and other stuff with your DVD's. Me, I keep backups of all DVD's including titlesets on a 1.25 TB Linux server. Granted I am all Fedora, so I'm stuck in a Linux mode. If any one wants to throw in on this thread, please do, I would be happy to answer emails as well as provide really inexpensive media servers that can do a number of wonderfull things for a little more than a copy of Vista Ultimate. Interested, bop me an e-mail, or keep doing the MPAA way.
