capta
I am ready to take the plunge into buying a quality speaker set for my new Dell. I have read many great reviews of the v2400, and was about to buy it. However, a guy at Best Buy said they were being discontinued. From reading a little on this board it seems they are being replaced by the "4.1s" Can someone give me a rundown on what the differences and improvements are btw v2400 and 4.1? Also, if the 2400s are being discontinued, what are the chances of picking one up at a discount, and where should I look? That is if I didn't decide to buy the new 4.1s. Sorry for my ignorance, but any and all information will be appreciated.
janko10
just buy the new 4.1's. they're essentially the same speakers with some modifications. a better cross-over, the cp-1 control pod is implemented, etc. they're at a few select retailers now, i would expect them to be out in force hopefully by the end of the month. you'll be able to buy them here, klipsch.com, and probably outpost.com too. also best buy will probably carry them as well, but who knows for sure.
