askbob1 Posted February 20, 2008 Share Posted February 20, 2008 hopefully i can rely on some of everyone's experience with different subs here. you too ear!! lol! in the price range of 750-1100, what would be the best sub that would play deep and still have a good punch if needed? i had seen another post where colin had put up some numbers of comparative models. the dayton 15" titanic looks attractive as far as performance, but how is it in the real world? also from other post, the epik line seems good. how does the rsw-15 fare in this pack? or others? It really packs a punch and can keep up with the RF7s but it does not play particularly deep, not much real out put below 20hz, some people would describe it as more musical. I love mine, if I have to compromise I don't need a sub that plays down to 15hz, as I need one that can keep up with the mains and its not a one note wonder.
