crobert1
first set calfed after three days Klipsch was great about replacing them but now i'm scared and i bought a little fan from building box for 13 bucks and i run it all the time behind the amp. so far so good but i think Klipsch should include a heatsink like the logitech z560. how much difference in sound quality would upgrading the speaker wire for my promedia's make does anybody know? thanks

glennbarn
After my subwoofer was replaced because it gets too hot, I always have a fan behind the sub to keep it cool. Yes, Klipsch should have included somre real good heat sink, I'm willing to pay a bit more as long as these lovely speakers keep going. Cheers ! justin_tx_16
Yes a heatsink would be nice. But even getting a little hot after some serious jamming is ok. As long as it is not putting out soundo and still gets very warm/hot. Some ppl do not notice a difference with new wires, I did. Sounds are just warmer in the midrange and more prodnouced, that was my experience. Gold plated mini plugs play a big part in the improved sound. ------------------ -justin I am an amateur, if it is professional; ProMedia help you want email Amy or call her @ 1-888-554-5665 Klipsch Home Audio help you want, email support@klipsch.com or call @ 1-800-KLIPSCH RA# Fax Number=317-860-9140 / Parts Department Fax Number=317-860-9150
