ProMedia DD-5.1 Digital Decoder

Recommended Posts

I've had the ProMedia Ultra 5.1 System for years now for my PC and I just got a MacBook. Since the ProMedia DD-5.1 Digital Decoder was discontinued I was wondering if there was a similar product on the market anyone can recommend. Or maybe you could sell me your digital decoder?!

I found two things on the Creative website, I think the Creative Decoder DDTS-100 was what you were referring to. But I also found this, Creative Home Theater Connect DTS-610 on the bottom link, what's the difference between the two??

The Creative Home Theater DTS-610 is just a way of transforming the analog signal from your computer or other analog devices into digital signal. I.E. going from the standard FL/FR, RL/RR, Center/Sub connections to optical or coaxial audio. This is not what you want as it will not go the other way around.

You want something that would transform that digital coaxial or digital optical signal to analog signal. Therefore you want the Creative Decoder DDTS-100.
