BE36
I have Forte II Front Left and Right, Academy center channel and small room that does not have room for anything but shallow, less than 10 inches deep, surround speakers. Any suggestions?

BE36
Thanks. The other half approves, I will start looking for a pair. The new Klipsh RS-52s just do not seem right.
billybob
Just make sure they can be against the wall for your shallow profile. This means whatever you are able to find, that 1 they are sealed, or 2 they have front bass reflex via a passive radiator or front firing port. Yes, you can stay with a closer match timbre-wise, and looks also, at least with your Fortes. If you want to ,get back with Forum and update, as you are a member now. Keep us posted! oldbuckster
Aren't KG series all 2 ways ? ..................... Forte's are 3 ways !!!!!!!!
billybob
Failed to mention that to poster, but lucky for him some are 9 and 10 inch deep. Believe he is doing some home theatre with the rears, with limited space.Maybe they will come back here looking for speakers. Low profile rears! OB, what do you think of KG's for surround?
