swede Posted January 20, 2002 Share Posted January 20, 2002 In the search for that perfect sound, I found that the crossover for the mid horn on the II's is down at the lower and higher point. I corrected this by adding a new mid horn with a frequency of 400hz to 9,000khz. I added L-Pads to tame the 99db 8 ohm horn and in so doing have made the II's even more refined. I was also searching a speaker forum and found if you put the II's on a platform 24" from the floor and place your II's horizontal with the horns inside and toeing in, the sound is even more precise and makes the soundstage wider and higher.
