STARSCREAM
I just got in 2 RVX-54's and 5 RVX-42's. All the boxes were beat the hell up and one of the 54's box had a huge hole in that box in the middle and other various damages to the box. I have hooked up all speakers and they all test tone when running a receiver speaker check and sound like they all work on movies. Is there any way to tell though if a tweeter/woofer or something else inside speaker was damaged in transit?? I wanna know if I should send back for replacements or not. jacksonbart
IMO listening and by visual inspection is the best way to tell. No buzzing, no distortion at normal listening levels, etc. Put your ear next to each tweeter to a low volume to ensure your getting sound from both, you can just rest you finger against a woofer to see if its getting a signal.
