consistent Posted July 7, 2008 Share Posted July 7, 2008 Hi All, I have my Altec 288's firing but at certain frequencies the bug screen on one of them resonates (rattles). I know it is the screen as the diaphragm is fine and when I put my fingers around the screen the resonance stops. Anybody had any experience with getter the screen out, little bugger! HarryO Posted July 7, 2008 Share Posted July 7, 2008 Try a touch of glue on the edges of the screen. Worked for me on a K-55 a couple of months ago.
