Keeping Track of The Cleaning Tool

Trust me ladies and gents, you don't want to loose your cleaning tool. Even if your ears are clean you'll need it once in a while.

I've velcroed mine into my Custom 2 case. If you try that approach, be careful to velcro to the side walls so you don't pull off the nylon lining. http://forums.klipsch.com/forums/p/101820/1029515.aspx#1029515 That does seem to work but still easy to slip out of clumsy fingers. And that little bugger can be difficult to find in the dust bunnies under one's desk or in the carpet, seating, or other nooks and crannies in ones vehichle.

I've thought about tethering it to the case somehow, but do I drill a teeny hole and tie cord onto the tool or glue and/or tape the cord on. And then there's managing the cord.

My latest thought is to get the smallist self winding tether I can find and attach it inside the case somehow if I ever get around to try it.

It then occurred to me, maybe a self retracting tether could be built into future Custom or Image cases. Include one in each and every case. The Image models come with 2 cases. Put one in both. If you have the case, you have your cleaning tool. Maybe a micro sized oblong device that could be stitched right into the case?

Any thoughts? I'll be happy to test any new prototypes if they'd ever get built.
