Rob7861
I am finally putting my home theater together. I have KLF-10's for the front. Do I try and find a used KLF-C7 (center) and used rear's or can I match with new Klipsch speakers. If I can match with new speakers, which would you suggest to buy? Thanks in advance Robert
wuzzzer
The KLF-C7 is the best match and many have used the KSP-S6 as surrounds. I don't think there ever was an official surround speaker made for the KLF series. Anything other than the C7 will not be timbre matched and will not blend well with your 10s. Rob7861
Thank you for the answer. Now I have to find a C7 and some KSP-S6's. Robert T.
Eskimo1
Along those lines... I have KLF20 fronts, C7 center, and KSP-S6 surrounds, but need 2 more for the 6.1/7.1rear surround. The KSP-S6's are hard to find at a reasonable price, and I'm not so sure that there'd be a noticable difference in sound by using something different for the rears (IIRC, not a *ton* of detailed information comes through them) Has anyone used or has a good recommendation for the rear surrounds other than the S6's? They will need to be wall mounted. I was thinking something along the lines of the RS3-2, or similar... or will I be hating myself? I do have a KV-2 that was my old center channel, maybe I could use it and find a match?
