skaplaya
In my recent efforts for finding a better tower case I noted that there are full atx towers and hydraullic full atx towers? Simply? What is a hydraullic full atx case? - Ric

Zero Gear
The hydraulics case is a bit expensive but definately worth it, just because it's really easy to install componets & that the case itself has a rail that slides out so that you don't have to carry the whole case to install the mobo. The cover that slides down protects the drives inside from a lot of dust. But the ventelation is a bit weak, make sure you use rounded cables, or install all 3-4 fans. I personally did a mod on the side of the case that is like the Alienware one which vents out the heat produced by the video card. Overall though, it is a great case to use Hydraulics just means by a push of the button the face plate in front slides down ^^;
Zero Gear
Oh here's the link to it, buy it from Circotech because they have a great tech support I am very satisified with them. Ask for Ken, Ext. 318 if you have any problems with your order. Model 920AX Hydraulic Sliding Door Case
Paragon
IMHO.. skaplaya
Is that a key lock for the sliding door. I have a sliding door on my current case but if that case has a locking sliding door that would be awesome. I have a 2 year old niece who tends to think that the pioneer 16x 105s dvd slot is great for putting pennies in and she also likes to start it up and delete stuff. Paragon
Thanks Hofy. Ska, why do you need a lock on your case? If I wanted.. I could put a lock and an ignition switch for my case.. but why? I would rather spend the extra money on modding the case like extra cooling or a window. ------------------ All Your Base Are Belong To Us ------------------------------------- 1GHz TBird Abit KT7A-RAID FOP38 & CuShim Kingmax 256MB PC150 Annihilator2 32MB GTS Intel Pro100+Management NIC Promise Ultra100 IBM 75GXP 45GB ATA100 & Maxtor DMP6800 27.2GB ATA66 Plextor 16X10X40A Sony 12X DVD SBLive! 5.1 AOpen HX08 Full Tower 300W Sony CPD-G400 19" Triny Pro 4.1 are comin!!!!!!!! skaplaya
Well, my current case is preety simple. Atx mid tower with dynamat and sliding front door. Dynamat doesn't really do anything to cut sound but stopped the darn prattling and rattling from the promedia sub. Case made a hell of a rattlin sound before. Like I said, I have a 2 year old niece who lives with me and likes to mess with my current case, with a lock, I could prevent her from sliding the door and "continuing to put pennies in my 105 16x pioneer dvd drive slot" and starting and deleting my stuff. Thats all.

skaplaya
Awesome Possum. I'll probably wait a tad till they release mx model of the geforce3. It'd be nice. But I wouldn't fork above 275.00. Even thats a bit extreme on a college budget. CSU Chico. But its all good. PS michigan kicks arse. I was touring round royal oak and such a bit back by myself for a tad and it was hella fun. I hope to go back there again soon.
