uclk
Hi, As a newbie, I am wondering if any of the veterans here could provide some suggestion on what and where to get those audio test CDs . I just started out my system and have basically no idea about how to test it. Your comments are greatly appreciated. uclk ------------------ Developing System: Onkyo TX-DS797 Onkyo DV-S555 Klipsch RF-3 II Klipsch RC-3 II Klipsch RS-3 II SVS 16-46CS (Subwoofer) Samson S700 (Amplifier) Sony KV32-FV27
dougdrake2
For HT setup and calibration, check our Video Essentials and Avia. For music, Stereophile has some test CDs on their web site. To give your sub a workout, go the www.stryke.com and look under test CDs. You should be able to find all these via your search engine of choice. Also, invest in a Radio Shack SPL meter, the analog kind, for $35. There is a lot of info about it on the www.svsubwoofers.com site, in the FAQs. Your ears aren't accurate enough to set the volume levels. Doug ------------------ My System
uclk
Thanks, dougdrake2. I just ordered the Stryke CD and gonna get the RCA meter this weekend. And the Avia CD too. Hopefully these should be enough. Thanks 1,000,000. ------------------ Developing System: Onkyo TX-DS797 Onkyo DV-S555 Klipsch RF-3 II Klipsch RC-3 II Klipsch RS-3 II SVS 16-46CS (Subwoofer) Samson S700 (Amplifier) Sony KV32-FV27
