decibel man
I recently installed a Soundblaster Live 5.1 digital sound card in my computer. I want to utilize the SPDIF digital out on my card to play audio to my main system in the next room. Problem is; the connection is some type of mini-jack. It also doubles as the analog out for the center and subwoofer channels if that helps. I need to convert the cable or jack over to digital coax or optical. Can anyone tell me what cable or part I am going to need? I know this post might be better suited for the ProMedia section, but I thought I would give it a shot here first. Thanks, JT
justin_tx_16
check your other post in the promedia section or, here ... get an rca cord, gold plated if you can, then get an rca to mini mono adapter, gold plated if possible. now you are done. you can do it backwards, a mini mono cable and an mini to rca adapter, works both ways. they make these and they are called audio antenuator cables... everything in one cord. ------------------ -justin I am an amateur, if it is professional; ProMedia help you want email Amy or call her @ 1-888-554-5665 or for an RA# 1-888-554-5665 Klipsch Home Audio help you want, email support@klipsch.com or call @ 1-800-KLIPSCH RA# Fax Number=317-860-9140 / Parts Department Fax Number=317-860-9150 ProMedia 5.1 Placement Help s>
