OnMedic Posted October 15, 2008 Share Posted October 15, 2008 I have been looking at a few choices for on-wall speakers as we are joining the 21's century today when we pick-up our new 52" LCD TV (Sharp Aquos) . It will be mounted on the wall above our fireplace mantle, but I am having a hard time deciding on speakers to go with it. It looks like we will be going with the Integra DTR-7.9 or 8.9 more then likely. I currently have the Reference 35 set-up (RB-35, RC-35, RS-35 and RW-12). I have it down to the following, and some input into the best match would be greatly appreciated. RXV-42 for LCR (Keeping RS35 & RW12) - Most cost effective, but will I be happy with the sound? Best match wirh RS-35? XL-23 for LCR (Keeping RS35 & RW12) - A lot more expensive the RVX-42. Is the sound 3 times as good and worth the $$$? Monitor Audio (Sell all Klipsch to offset cost) - Nicest looking of the three options, and sizeis perfect for the panel. Oh the delema!? Suggestions?
