My dealer in S. Florida told me that Klipsch was soon going to do away with the entire Synergy line and focus all efforts on the Referance line. I was in the market for the Quintets and the told me that they have been discountinued to make way for the new referance sats coming out in mid July. Any thoughts?

Look in the NewsCenter section in the photo gallery. "Reference Satellites" Model #'s RCX-4, RCX-5 and RCX-4. Take a look see!

I just went to the NewsCenter section and in the photo gallery, they list a "Home Reference Satellite" speaker system. Model #'s RCX-4, RCX-5 and RSX-4. So there you have it. Supped up Reference Quintets. These babies must be brand new. Any thought?

I was the one who started the thread about the "Reference Quintets". About a month ago I called Klipsch on another matter and I was told they were coming out with a Reference Sat. Looks like they delivered. I too, just noticed the new photos in the Newscenter photo gallery. What are these all about? How much will they cost? And who caries them?

The reason I asked about a Reference line of Quintets, is because about a month ago, I purchased the Quintet II for a new addition I'm having put on my house. I found a great deal at "Crazy Eddies" (I know, don't laugh, I should have known), but anyway the arrived without serial numbers. So the warranty is void from Klipsch. So I called Klipsch to see if they were a legit dealer, and of course they're not. But I did talk to someone at Klipsch, and he eluded to the fact that they were coming out with a new micro-system stepped up from the synergy line. I was hopeing that one of the moderators would have been able to shed some light on this new product. Now that I've sent back the non-serial numbered Quintet back to crazy ed, and cancelled my order with them, I wanted to learn something about a stepped up perhaps reference quintet. I'm not needing them right away, as I'm waiting for my addition to be completed. He said something about them coming out in the late spring or early summer.

I'm aware that the Quintets are in the Synergy line! Iwas curious as to know if there are plans to create a Reference line.

Does the subject line model exist. Will it in the near future? Thanks & Shine On!..................Scott
