  1. Thanks, I'm pretty sure thats it. I had the Ultras at 70 volume (80 is max) so thats very loud. Plus my soundcard at 100% and w/ heavy metal, I guess it was too much for the RSX-4's. I'm gettin the RSX-5's for the fronts and movin my 4's to the back. Hopefully the 5's can handle a bit better. If anyone else would have an idea of what the rattling was, plz say so! thanks! 5.gif

  2. It's only on a select few songs too. Actually only 2 songs, and the it's not the songs that has the sound in it cuz i tested on other speakers and headphones. They are really heavy metal songs.

    The Blank Theory - Addicted

    The Blank Theory - Invisible

    And its only at the begining of the songs too...it's weird.

  3. My RSX-4's were fine until just a few minutes ago, I heard a slight rattling in the Right speaker (I'm using them for fronts). I unhooked all the other speakers except for the right one and vice versa to make sure that was it. It was. At loud volumes, there is a rattling noise coming from the cone. It still sounds amazing but now that rattling can be heard. I took off the grill to see if that was it and it wasn't. I made sure all the base screws were tight and that still wasnt it. I can only hear it on really loud volumes, but on lower voumes i cant hear it. Does any1 have any idea what this could be? What should I do? I don't have a warrenty on them, would I be able to send them back to klipsch and they could fix it for a fee? ANy help is greatly appreciated. 15.gif

  4. See, I have 2 RSX-4's and a RCX-4. I'm looking for new mains. For now, I'm usin the Ultra amp to power them. I was deciding between the RSX-5's and the RB-25's for my new mains, but everyone says that the timbre is too difernt and the RB-25's wont go well with the RSX's. I really want the RB-25's though. I'm so confused. 14.gif

  5. I already asked this up in the 2 channel forums but I got no response for some gay reason so I might as well ask here. Should I get the RSX-5's or the RB-25's or maybe even a bookshelf one step up from the 25's (35's?)?? For now, I'll be usin them for the R and L channels hooked up to my ProMedia Ultras. I have the RSX-4's up front now, and I will move them to the back when I get my new mains. I was just curiuous, what would work out better? I want loudness without harshness, and I manly listen to metal and emo. THanks in advance.

  6. Ok..wtf for some reason I made 2 blank threads..sorry. plz delete them admins. Anyway, I was wondering if I can get some of ur opinions on what I should get for my R and L channels..RB-25's or RSX-5's?? I mainly listen to music..heavy metal to be exact...and for now I'll be powerin them on the ProMedia Ultra amp until I have to the money to buy a stero amp or receiver. Thanks.

  7. The movie is a chick flick and i was dragged along by my girl, but it actually wasnt that bad. Anyway, the reason i thought it was a Klipsch speaker was because of the shape..it was tall, pretty wide, and had the feet on the side, just like the RF's do.

  8. I just saw the movie "13 Going On 30" and I noticed that in the one scene, in the background, there appeared to be a Klispch Speaker..it was in the shadows and you could only see the outline, it appeared to be a RF-7 or something similiar. It was at the scene when the guy does his striptese for Jennifer ..and of course I wasn't paying attention to that! 2.gif so i noticed that, any1 else notice that? I'm prob wrong tho since im a noob at HT 15.gif

  9. I have the Promedia Ultras and I was wonderin what would be good to do. This is my current system:

    Right = RSX-4

    Left = RSX-4

    Center = RCX-4

    Rear Right= Ultra sat

    Rear Left = Ultra sat

    Subwoofer = Ultra sub + 1 SWS

    Also, DD-5.1 hooked up to Audigy 2 ZS. Anyway, I was thinkin about gettin the RSX-5's for my fronts and movin the 4's to the back. Should I do this or just get another pair of 4's? Would there be any problems w/ the 5's? Any suggestions? Thanks.

  10. I know this is the wrong forum, but I thought'd I'd let u guys know that The Matrix Revolutions on DVD is incredible. Not only is the movie good, but there is A LOT of deep bass. This was probably one of the best sounding movies iv'e ever heard..and I'm only experiencing it on my Ultras/SWS/DD-5.1/RSX-4's. I can't imagine a Klipsch HT...omg i'd die. Anyway, watch it asap and listen to ur Klispch speakers own it up! 16.gif
