  1. Hi, How's everyone doing here? I haven't posted in a very long time. Just wondering what's up. Edit: by Trey. Kain has been banned 4 times that I know of...He is now banned again, until "Klipsch" talks about his return. The only thing worng with this post is that he made it.

  4. Since we do not have a subwoofer, I am running the main speakers as Large. Today, I was watching Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones and during the first scene where the huge ship flies over and woofers on my RF-7s were moving like crazy. I had it VERY loud but there was no distortion, no clipping, nothing. But it was just scary watching them move that much. Is this okay or should I reduce the volume?
  5. I have had no problems with having the center speaker close to the TV. Secondly, we already have a rug/carpet on the floor. It's just not visible in the picture.
  6. I noticed another thing. If I play a CD and walk around the room, in some areas the bass is so much louder and cleaner. Do I have a placement issue?
  7. But you see, when I set it to 0 dB, movies sound good, but when I listen to audio CDs, there is very little bass.
  8. Yeah, they are currently set to Large, but I was debating whether or not I should crank the bass from 0 dB to +12 dB (full tilt) on the A/V receiver.
  9. Since I do not have a subwoofer yet, will it be safe to set my mains to Large and crank the bass from 0 dB to +12 dB (that is the max it will go) on my A/V receiver?
  10. I just rented this movie today and OMG! It has such an aggressive soundtrack! WOW! Highly recommended just for sound!
  11. But they don't have anything on THX Cinema processing.
  12. I was listening to the pod race scene at a VERY VERY high volume and it sounded absolutely amazing. It sounded very live and as if I was in the middle of all those pods blowing past me. It did not sound harsh or anything like that. My question is how can people consider this sound as bright? Maybe the system they heard was not setup correctly?
  13. Yeah, but will it be possible to use a single digital coaxial connection for DVD-Audio?
  14. In order to play DVD-Audio discs, do I have to use analoge connections or can I just use the digital coaxial connection that I use for DVD movies?
  15. Thanks! One last question (I hope). Will it be okay to set all my speakers to large or just the mains? Can the RC-7 and RS-7 handle being set to large?
  16. By the way, I have my crossover set to the lowest possible setting on the A/V receiver, and that is 40Hz.
  17. Currently, I have my center and surround speakers set to small and my main speakers set to large. So, you are saying that I should set all of them to large?
  18. Oh, and I have another question... Sometimes, when I play a DVD and skip to a new scene/chapter, the sound "kicks in" a second or so later. Why is this?
  19. One more thing, when I listen to a CD, it's not that the sound is "tiny" or anything, but it is just that there is much less bass than in the movies.
  20. Okay, I just noticed that the hiss is only there when the DVD player is sending a signal.
