hello... im loving it right now...we watched three movies this past weekend...u571(again)..mistic river..and spiderman(superbit)...noticed a little port noise from the pb2+ but not too bad... i have one final question...im runnning a daisy chain with the pb2+ at the end....should i hook up both the l and r rca or just one....would it make a difference...the manual says pick one...how are you guys hooking it up...thanks...

done...i finally got 30 mins with the ht last night and fixed the phase problem....wow...more bass then i could imagine....thank you fellas...i will do the avia testing this weekend... garymd...i dont know why...i guess my car stereo roots are carrying over to my home theater...maybe its just a phase im going through...

hello...before i put this on ebay or audiogon...please let me know if anyone is interested in buying this almost brand new avr 3803..no scratches what so ever...comes with everything....i had it for about 4 months and very few hours of use (based on my projector hours..it would be about 40 hours)...the remote was only used to program my universal...never pushed any buttons on the receiver...never used the speaker terminals...just two digital opt...and the preouts....lived in my av cabinet the whole time....bought from an authorized dealer...the reason why im selling is because i counldnt pass up a deal on the 5803....the asking price is $650....will be shipped in orignal box...or double boxed...thanks...

thanks for the tips everyone....unfortunately i did not have any time with the ht last night because my fiance is sick...and rattling the walls wouldve been a good idea....with the adoption of a new sub...im tipping the waf scale a little too much already.. the pb2+ is about 6" apart from the rsw15s...and the port(s) firing at the wall....i will adjust the crossovers, phase, gain, etc...hopefully tonight...and i will report back as soon i get things right....over the weekend...i will do the spl meter and avia disc testing to really smooth things out....keep the suggestions coming...thanks..

hello...i just got the pb2+ yesterday....after a 30 minute test with pearl harbor and u571...the results are not good....here are my settings...two ports blocked...ss filter 16hz...crossover at 40hz...phase at 0...the rsw15s are stacked and the pb2+ is right next to them...there are no openings in the room except for a door and a window with heavy thick drapes....the impact of the rsw15s at 25-30hz are so overwhelming that it drowned out the 20hz and below of the pb2+.....ill do some more tweaking tonight....maybe if the pb2+ cant play along with the rsw15s..it should joint them by setting all three to put out the same freq?...if thats the case..i shouldve gotten another rsw15...need some suggestions...thanks in advance...

i have a friend thatll take the 3803 off my hands for $600 so this upgrade will cost me $1400...note that this is not the upgraded 5803A...just the regular ole 5803.....i will be using the same separate amplifiers and the 5803 is just the pre pro....i need 5803 owners to tell me if this is worth the extra $$$...thanks..

yeah..i would consider the khorns for my next 2ch project (my fiance and i are looking for a bigger house)...but its really hard to find some in the area....but not too long ago...i let a couple of dark cherry ones slip away (i just purchased the rf 7s and the rsw15 and didnt have any $$ for it)...its was about 30 miles from me....maybe next time....

hello all...i have $1500 to spend....my current system consist of the the reference series 7 with a pair of rsw15s....i love bass...here are my options....let me know what you think... option 1.....get a third rsw15.... option 2.....get a svs pb2+....(im still curious about the svs subs)...and will it blend with the rsw15s.... option 3.....get rid of the rs7 and get another pair of rf7s for the surrounds..... thanks....

im using autocad 2004 as we speak....ive been using the autocad programs for about 4 years....our firm does commercial and some residential.........with autocad..there are so many ways of doing one thing that is hard to learn everything about it....somedays i just want to go back to hand drafting....but thats just me...

thank you all for your inputs....the way i did it was from the lfe to sub 1...from the sub 1s unfiltered outputs to sub 2....all the settings are the same on both subs...placed at different locations....very happy with the outcome....i hope this makes up for the pb2+ that i decided not to get =)...but happy that i kept my whole system klipsch...

i just picked up my second rsw15 last night but didnt get a chance to hook it up (cause the fiance wouldnt let me play with my toys)....i wont be able to see my babies till tonite...so im here (working) just wondering how you guys are hooking the subs up (daisy chain..y split the lfe out from the preouts....left and right preouts...etc..)and are the settings the same on both subs....thanks....

a few weeks ago...i had a tough time deciding between the rsw15 or the pb2+....i know that the rsw15 have strengths and weakness....but what if one gets both....would it be a waste of money....im just thinking out loud here.....i just hate not knowing what the pb2+ sounds like and just going by what others are saying...thanks...

thanks for the good info and comments....keep it coming...until i decide to sell and design a bigger home with a bigger dedicated home theater(no need right now...its just me and my fiance who happened to move herself in....maybe in a year)...this will have to do....im looking towards the future so im trying to set it up as if the room is bigger...

i also live in sacramento and was watching that auction....if i didnt just purchased the reference 7 system...those wouldve been mine...its really tough to find one in the area....

it went pretty well on friday with the rsw....it was pretty risky but we took it out of the box stuffed it in the back seat and folded up the box in the trunk....i drove really slow...got it in the theater without a scratch....what a beautiful thing to look at....i might have missed out on something great in the pb2+ but i very happy with the rsw15...watched bad boys 2..finding nemo...and godfater over the weekend....trying to break in the sub....

okay...the rsw15 is coming in today...goodguys had to order it because i wanted the cherry....i cant wait...i need a favor from you guys....anyone at home or working from home can measure the box for the sub....i dont know if it will fit in my sedan....please let me know before 5:00pm pacific time...thanks alot....
