well good timing i just put one on ebay a few days ago already 1 bid at 150$ i dont think they are on ebay much i own 3 and im selling 1 because i only need 2 the one im selling is the one in the best physical apperance (no marks) also all of them havnt been used much its not often when i can use them anyway,, and when they arnt inuse they are unpluged so i would say they are in great working condition

are you useing the control pods on all of them,,,im just using 1(on first sws) and my setup is ultra-sws-sws all hooked up with the sws link and I ended up just leaving the last sws set to on and I have been doing it manually

I got 4 old "kg2 00" speakers at a yard sale a few years ago befor i was a klipsch fan. They were born 05/07/1990. I dont know much about klipsch classic stuff I just got into promedia systems to start me off, I just got ultra 5.1 and 2 sws's. Anything people can tell me about them would be good, im curious as to how good they are, if there worth anything, and if they can be serviced/upgraded.

I got my second sws yesterday, I have them both hooked to ultras. ive got power set to auto and it dosnt kick on when the other one dose. also im not using a control pod for sws #2 just sws #1 and i have it set to on and just flip the switch on my power strip/box for now. Anyone else got theres working.

Try changing your phase settings

my settings phase 180, problem on 0 crossover 60 stacked on ultra sub the reason I started this mainly is I need to know if everyone else with sws stacked on ultras sub has to use 180. I know I am having phase canceling problems on 0. Now everyone post your setting...Thanks

Please post; Phase setting and phase problems if any. Crossover setting prefrence. How you connected, rca link or mini links. Positioning, stacked or other.

Im new to the sws,, well im new to high quality speaker systems in general so yes I am a newb and yes you can make fun of me. I just figured out that the control pod on my sws has a different function when the sws is used throught a sws link. I did read the manual it says "When the SWS is connected to Klipsch Promedia with the SWS link......the volume-control module is used only to adjust the balance of bass from the SWS to higher sounds from other speakers..." I dont understand what this means, is it adjusting the input level or is adjusting some crossover freq. What I would really like to know (in words I understand) what the control is doing or if I should even use it. ps im using the ultras and my sws settings are crossover 90 and phase 0(i think thats what it should be at)

Thanks I get it now,,,im used to having small altech subs where you can tell where they are placed, heheh. Also I didnt realize it was hard to place low sounds, duh

If you put 1 sws behind you with only the rear speaker passthrough and 1 in front with only the front and possibly center passthrough, would you have surround subs? I have the ultras and a sws on the way that I am going to give it a try with just the rear pass on it and if this works I might get one more for just the front. Just an idea though,,,, any thoughts??

Promedia vs Quintet Hello im new to fourms. I am deciding what system to get for my pc. If someone could help me with some questions I have that would be awesome. Im really into games, movies, and music and I use my pc for everything(dont even have a tv). I am getting a soundblaster audigy 2 pro. I have a onkyo 5.1 reciver already that will possibly be connected to the card with digital or fiber.(no analog input on reciver) -As I understand the promedia is powered and the quinete is not is this correct? -What system had better componets? -Should I run the promedia directly from the audigy2 and be completly thx certified (If that even matteres) or run fiber to my amp and run the quinete 2 system. (thx vs fiber/digital) I need to stay in the pricerange of these to systems so I think those are my 2 options, thanks for checking my post, please let me know what you think. Robert
