  1. Just a quick one here. I am updating my setup to RF-35s and RC-35. My surround speakers will be mounted only about 1 ft. from the rear wall. I already own a pair of RSX-5s that sound great. Will the RSX-5's be better than the RS-35s, since essentially the RS-35's would be partially firing toward the rear wall only a foot away? Does it matter? Are the RSX-5s a good match? Does anyone care? I will be posting pics when the house and system is complete in November. Any comments or questions welcome. Thanks
  2. Building a new Home Theater system and need advice on TV. Is the 60 inch LCD XBR Projection worth the extra $2200 over the 50 inch LCD Projection (Not XBR). Thanks
  3. We are in the planning stages of building a new home and I want to make my home theater system sing both for music and movies. Well I am very strong in the equipment area (Klipsch all the way, lol) but need some advice on in-wall wiring, wiring systems, placement and archtectural stuff. I have included the floor plans of the house as attachments. I really would like to put the system in what is known as the "bonus room," it is a second living room upstairs but the "great room" is a possibility also. The "bonus room" is 19.8 x 12.2 and te "great room" is 19 x 21. Anyway this builder I am using wires in 5.1 standard and Cat 5s the entire house, but obviously I want to go a little further for the future such as 7.1 or higher. What is the best room? Where should the panels be placed. (RB-35, RC-35, SVS PB1-ISD, 4 RSX-5 (fr and r channels) (perferrably on walls.) TV - Samsung HD 35in (not flat). What style panels? What should I know and make sure the builder knows about the system? Speaker Placement? What am I overlooking? I know its a lot, but Im spending a lot and want it right, please help if you can?
  4. Let's see your wish lists, I will pass them on to Santa (Not Billy Bob Thornton).
  5. Here is the long awaited answer to your question, from our good friends and Klipsch customer support: A stand bracket for RSX 4 & 5 is now included in Sanus EF Sat Black stand cartons as of 11/24/03 and Silver EF Sat cartons starting 12/4/03. The bracket will also work on the DF Sat Sanus stand but is not included in that model. The Ref Sat bracket can be obtained directly from Sanus at 800-359-5520. www.sanus.com<>
  6. One big difference you must note that the RB-5 II s (which will blow the quintet's out of the water) vs. the RB-35 s is the that the former has a rear firing port and the latter has a front firing port, therefore, if you are putting them inside speaker shelf, this will make a difference since there may not be adequate space for the RB-5 II's to fire. Im not an expert, but I hope this helps.
  7. I have a modest HT system and was wondering what Sub would be the best with the following: RB-25, RC-25, RSX-5 (rear surround), Harman Kardon AVR 330 receiver. I've been considering, RW-10, RW-12, RSW-10 or an SVS sub. 20x16 room.
  8. I'm looking for stands for my RSX-5 s also. Have you found and yet? Im using them as rear surrounds.
