  1. James is right n the money when he said low impedence drive is not that relavent for Klipsch speakers. I own the new Sony STR-DA5000ES And it sounds great with my KLF 30'S. But like I said before these new digital amps can not drive low efficient speakers. That's why I said the new sony digital receivers mainly the DA5000ES THE ONE I'M USING WITH MY klf 30's is a perfect match for Klipsch speakers. The DA5000ES CAN DRIVE MY klf 30'S TO EAR BLASTING SOUND. Most of the people that bought these new Sony receivers and say there no good are using them with low efficientcy speakers. But with Klipsch speakers there great. I know I own one.
  2. The new Sony Digital Receivers sound great with Horns (Klipsch speakers) Almost tube like sound, But I heard they don't sound as good with less effecent speakers, But with klipsch speakers the new sony's a perfect match. I'm using klf 30's with the new STR-DA5000ES Sony. Nice clear, clean, krisp sound
  3. I was using a Mccormack DNA-1 Amp with my KLF-30'S, highly rated. And also has a tube like sound. But the new Sony digital amp sounds better to me. The horns sound smoother. The new Sony ES receivers have there new digital amps in them. The STR-DA5000ES puts out 170 watts per channel. All I can say is that you have to here them for yourself. To me they sound nice and smooth with my KLF-30'S. No more high end fatigue.
  4. I just bought the new Sony Digital Receiver STR-DA5000ES And my KLF-30'sound great almost tube like sound. The horns are very smooth now. No more high end fatigue, I think this receiver will make most klipsch speakers sound like you were listing to a tube amp.
  5. Hi, I just bought the new Sony digital receiver STR-DA5000ES, And let me tell you they sound great with klipsch speakers. The STR-DA5000es is a perfect match for klipsch speakers. The horns sound smooth. Almost tube like sound. I'm useing KLF-30'S up front 20's rear.
