  1. If the linked page below fails to load properly, just click refresh a couple of times and it will straighten itself out (Bell South.....ack!) Link to Info/Pictures.....
  2. Yes, you could lay it on it's side. Or, you could modify it as wjfranke did with the KLF-30 center that now sits in my theater room. See link below...... http://forums.klipsch.com/forums/thread/848523.aspx finished product... KLF-30 Converted Center - "Horn-Ed" mod w/Popbumper upgraded network F/S
  3. I just can't believe that you "snuck in" a Volkswagon-sized SVS PB-12 +2 and the surrounds are going to be a problem :-)
  4. Don't buy the the SCW in walls!! I bought two pair for my living room (mains and surrounds) because the wife (boss) was tired of "speakers being part of the furniture". Unplugged the mains and brought my KLF-10's that I was using for HT surrounds back downstairs. Sorry for missing the "in-celing" part of your surround question. In my opinion, you can't put anything in the wall or ceiling that will do the KLF-30's justice.
  5. The KSP-S6 was the surround originally recommended by Klipsch for the KLF-30. They are out of production but can be found from time to time here or on eBay. I emailed Klipsch support asking what they recommended from their current line for use with the KLF-30. The following is the response I received. I hope this is of some use. "If you sit against the back wall, then I may suggest using the RS-52 or smaller RS-42 as your back surrounds. If you sit say about 3 feet plus from the back wall, then I suggest a book shelf speaker. The easiest to mount would be the RB-51 with keyhole mount. The RB-61 is larger and does not have mounting provisions on the back, you would need to place them on a shelf"
  6. OK..... Took a while but wjfranke's KLF-30 HornEd center is now in my HT (and special thanks to wjfranke for helping me lug the beast up two flights of stairs). So is the KLF-C7 that I bought (ebay) one day before the KLF-30 was posted for sale. It finally found it yesterday in the carport of the vacant house next door where UPS thoughtfully left it for me days ago. One of the KLF-C7's I have owned for years and moved a number of times. As a result, it has a couple of small scratches and a small chip on the left rear upper corner. All of these are easily touched up with the ever-handy Sharpie and would be virtually un-noticable unless you where looking for them. The second KLF-C7, the one I just purchased, has a couple of scratches on the bottom. These were already addressed (again with a Sharpie) by the previous owner and I had to look very closely to find them. Otherwise, this one is pretty much perfect. I will need to borrow a digital camera so I can provide pictures - working on that now. I know a couple of folks had expressed an interest previously. Sorry it took me so long to get my act together here. Any body still interested can shoot me an email.
  7. I have two black satin KLF-C7's that I am considering parting with....
  8. Well...one's upstairs in the theater. The other is supposed to be in truck somewhere between here and Michigan (I think). I think that the one I just bought is in better shape than the one here (a couple of nicks) but I'll have to wait to open the box to be sure. Maybe we can work something out if the KLF-30 center isn't scarfed up in the next day or so.
  9. Damn....I just bought another KLF-C7 three days ago (and I live in Mandeville). My wife will likely blow a gasket if I add another $550 speaker to the system. Should have waited. Anybody want one or two KLF-C7's? KLF-30 Mains KLF-C7 Centers (2 now) KSP-S6's Surrounds KLF-10's Surround Back
  10. I would like to have the KSP-S6's if you will sell them separately from the other gear. I see you have a bite on the mains already. Please contact me!
  11. Looking for someone who might be willing to part with thier beloved and scarce KSP-S6's. I need a pair for surround back speakers in my Legend series HT set-up (KLF-30 mains, KLF-C7 center and KSP-S6 surrounds). Everything I currently have is black (though I had to paint my first pair of white KSP-S6's black and buy the black grills). Looking for a black pair but I will paint another pair if someone has a white pair that they are willing to sell (guess I had better check with Klipsch parts to see if the black grills are still available). I have a pair of black satin KLF-10's that I would consider using as some form of trade/cash transaction as well. I've been watching Audiogon/Videogon and Ebay for some time with no luck so I figured it wouldn't hurt to come here and beg :-) Anyone who knows of other forums (other than Audiogon/Videogon and Ebay) where I might get lucky and find a pair, please let me know. Thanks........
  12. I'm a Yat....well, not exactly.... raised in Mandeville...SLU grad
  13. skonopa........ Thanks for your (rapid) response. I was leaning towards the KLF-10's especially because I cannot find any KSP-S6's. Just needed an encouraging word (a push) I guess :-) Moving from a "living room" to a dedicated 20' X 20' home theater. I think the KLF-10's will be fine but will await and ponder any feedback from the dipole enthusiasts. Regards.......
  14. "itsmyforte" is absolutely correct. The matching center speaker for the KSB-2.1 is the KSC-C1. Last time I looked on ebay, (20 minutes ago) there were no KSC models for sale. But, don't give up. Keep looking. I just saw two pair of KSB-S1 surrounds sell in the last couple of days that are the "perfect match" surrounds for you KSB-2.1's. By the way, where did you find new KSB-2.1 speakers? They have been out of production for a couple of years now. Maybe you have a source for older model Klipsch speakers that many folks would be interested in. Please advise. Finally, I have two pair of "perfectly matched" KSB-1.1's that I am about to replace. Let me know if you need any more of the KSB line (original boxes, paperwork, etc.)
