  1. Thanks everybody. I do have that feeling that the Ultra has the big advantage because of the subs, am I right? Trey Cannon and others: Would you choose Ultras 6.1 or RF-7,RC-7,RS-7? Maybe the RF-7s need larger room than the small Ultras? (THX625's) I know this is a difficult question, but for you who have listenened to both, what should I do? Or what will be the best result....? I was thinking of two RW12s or 1 RSW12/15 with the 7s. thanks
  2. Hello all, I do have a room of 22 square meters. 6.8x3.2 meters. Are the Ultra set designed for very large rooms or can I use it with good result. I dont wanna spend this kind of money if its not working 100%. I do have RS-7 and RF-35, the RF-35 is just for for a month... I was also thinking of keeping my RS-7 and buy RF-7 if the Ultra wasnt any better. But the RF-7s are very big, so maybe the THX fronts will be a better choice? I see that the THX Wide dispersion costs approx the same as RS-7. The only thing when it comes to money, I think the sub is pretty expensive with the amplifier. I am living in Norway. Well, I hope someone can give me some comments and if any of you have bought this Ultra set It will be for 95% home theater, 5% music.
  3. I am thinking of biwire the RC-7. But how is the tweeter and woofers connected? Is it like the RF-7 that the tweeter is for one input and the other for the woofers? Why I am asking is I thought maybe there was some difference in the RC-7 since the woofers have a different network. HF CROSSOVER: 1950Hz MF CROSSOVER: 550Hz I hope the terminals are wired like this: 1. Tweeter plus 1st woofer 2. 2nd Woofer
  4. Hello guys, I am searching around for a Klipsch logo in high resolution. Can anyone give me a link please? I am going to send this to a guy that i making VERY nice plaques, and I want one in my home theater. I was thinking of the Original Klipsch logo, but all logos will be appreciated BR Jan Ove
  5. Thanks folks for goos answers!! I have read the SVS pages and have talked to Ron over the email. We decided for a 20/39PC+. So for me this thread is finished Thanks again....
  6. Everything is differetn on the 35s. Cabinets, network, woofers, tweeter etc.
  7. It looks like I have to go for the Rotel RSP-1068 and a RMB-1095 since the dealer couldnt get the Yammy Z9 before August. Who can wait that long?! Well, I have to buy it then....
  8. Wow many replies here Good. Ok my room is 22 square meters, this is 6.8m*3.2m, and it is only 205cm heigh!! As I have understood SVS boxes is too big, and I have decided for a cylinder. Ok? Anyone? Allright, so this sub has to be shipped all over to Europe (the shipping price example wansnt that bad on SVS home page), this means that it was meantioned here, that I have to think of the weight. So the boxes are the heaviest ones, so I go for the cylinder. Which cylinder folks? For my Klipsch RF-7 I dont need more punch, only deeeep base with a lot of power!! Will I then choose the passive ones with Samson amp (very cheap!!!!!) or the active ones? Are there any differences in quality compared the active and passive ones, or is it just the amp that differs them (external/internal)? The Samson is perfect for the sub, or is it better to choose another one? I am then thinking of just get one here in Norway, but hey, the price....? Thanks
  9. So, you are using two different ones? Is that ok? It wont we any differences? Ok, I have got some tips now, but I am still confused... Am I going to get the passive cylinders with the Samson 100w amp or actives or just go for the box? What is the difference in quality and which has the highest SPL. I am thinking of the cylinder vs. boxes... If the cylinder was the option here, would it be the best with the passive ones with the external amp? Well, a lot confused questions here....
  10. I thought that I had seen the SVS in Norway before but not sure.... I am a dealer in my hometown on a private bases..... Maybe Ill take contact with SVS and imorting it to Norway!! Have to look around first, or Ill just ask SVS if they have a importer in Norway. Is it the sylinder subs that is the best ones or is it the boxes? I see many are using the cylinder subs, but...? Thanks.
  11. Ok Which SVS for the RF-7s? I really dont know the prices in Norway, but I sure dont hope that it will be the same difference as for Klipsch Please come with more comments Thanks:)
  12. Hello folks, it seems like the users on this forum has the RF-7s and................. SVS subs? Not Klipsch RSW??? Is the SVS so much better? What is better with SVS? Are they less expensive or are they...? I thought the RSWs was some of the best subs in that price range? This system goes on and on and on..... Why?
  13. Thanks, I'll check Home Theater Mag and S&V. I couldnt get into the widescreenreview.com
  14. Thanks So you dont like Sound & Vision?
  15. Thanks, do you have some examples? Can you give me some adresses?
  16. Nice one!! If I just could have that kind of space.... Well, that has to sound good?
  17. Are you talking about reading the magazines online or receiving them home? Sound and Vision is a not online mag? I want to receive it to my home adress Sorry for not understanding....
  18. Hey, I am looking around to subscribe on a couple of Home Theater Mags on the web. Sound & Vision any good magazines? Well, pretty cheap on the web, 10$ for one year!! plus 10$ for me in Norway.... but hey, thats cheap? Any suggestions?
  19. Thnaks skonopa for the review. Please give me more reviews of the Yamaha and the Denon:) The review you sent me just got me on track for the Yammi In the test bench it was pretty obviousing!! Its expensive though, but the box contains so much good stuff and it has alot of power, so is it that expensive? The Fourudja Video Prosessor is awsome, how much do you think it would cost if it was external? Well, for me this has it all. Power, room correction, video processor and of course Yamaha sound and processing
  20. When I am talking about the KING of AV amps, I am talking in that price range and the chieper ones. I think we can't compare Yammi with Sunfire at a higher price etc.... The Yammi got all, video processing, room calibration etc. I am also thinking of the Rotel 1068 pre and the 1075/1095 amp. But as a couple here in norway said the Yammi was better in surround than Rotel 1098!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  21. Have anyone tested this against the new Denon? I have always thought of Yamaha as the king in cinema, but the Denon might be better in stereo. Anyone tested one of these, or both? I have read some a couple of tests on the Yamaha, it is the best receiver there is, but they havent tested Denon yet, but hey Denon?
  22. Yes, this is a fully 7.1 receiver and the 8.1 and 9.1 are just effect channels that are meant to mount over the front channels. This really works!!!!!!
  23. I thought of the Rotel 1068 pre and 1095 amp. But I can get a good deal on the Aragon set, The one pre and 2007 amp I wonder if you from US are not using Aragon? It has to bee cheap in US since the Klipsch are? Klipsch owns Aragon, so....? Well, Aragon is absolutely the king used on Klipsch
  24. Ok, I give up!! It will be the RF-7s again I see that the Klipsch guys here are very otfen using Harman Kardon and the AVR7200. Is this the AVr-7500 in Europe or the 8500? Anybody? So the AVR-7200 is enough for these monsters?
  25. ok, I will not move in the next decade I think I think if I bought RB-75 and setup as small, it would be great with the 2 RW-12 or 1 RSW-12. I had the RF-7s before and they are great!! Room mode? How can I find this out? Is this where I am going to sit etc?
