Looking for a pair of K-701 horns...anyone got some they would like to part with?

I found out about these "strange canellations" myself...I set 2 heresys over the TV and there were obvious dead zones in several areas. I have one as the center now with the K-77M's out and the K-77's in to eliminate the EMI prob, it's all good now.

I was concerned about EMI also. I decided to go with my older Heresys as front and rear centers. I had an older set of K-77's so I transplated them into my Heresys. Now My La Scala and front Heresy have the same mid and high drivers so they match pretty good. The older K-77, not the K-77M...is naturally shielded by it's construction. I haven't had any EMI probs at all since the swap out. As far as using a La Scala for a center, It should be no problem if it too has the older K-77 high driver.

John, I thought about using my older set of heresys on top of the entertainment center laying horizontally butted up against each other with the teeters inboard and bi- wiring them. Since my older Heresys have the same high and mid drivers as my 78 La Scalas, would'nt they be a good match?

I would love to use a La Scala for my center, but the wife refuses to move that HUGE "entertainment center" outta my way!...maybe I could talk her into using it as a book shelf?

As stated before, I have been "schooled" in shielding...I have found that my early heresys and my 78 La Scalas won't be a problem due to the Alinco magnets., my 85 heresys will do nicely in the backround...

Have owned: KG .5's, KG 4.5's, KG SW, KLF-20's, KLF-C7, SW12, RC-3, RF-5's, RSW-10. Currently: 1981 Heresy's, 1985 Heresys, 1978 La Scalas, 1980's? La Scalas. Want to own: Another set of 1978 La Scalas (sentimental reasons),and of course Klipschorns. I was 39 when I bough my first pair of Heresys. I am now 44. What other heritage would I like? Another pair of 1978 La Scalas, And a set of K horns. Why?...'78' La Scalas because thats the year I first heard them, K horns because to me they are the golden ring of Hi-Fidelity loudspeakers. About the 'Jubilee'?...I'm not sure, maybe it should be in a classification of it's own.

BUCKING/CANCELLATION MAGNETS!!! I finally get it...quite frankly I'm embarrassed at how long it took me...thank you all for this great forum, a godsend to the newbie big K lover!!!

Not directly , a bunch of stuff on 'bucking magnets' though, sounds very involved..might try it! I've even seen some posts about guys setting the tv DIRECTLY on top of Heresys and La Scalas with no em probs...not sure i want to test this with my tv! I suppose any other fix would involve insane amounts of metal...

Ok, I shoulda looked here first...I've made a couple posts about shielding heritage for centers. This seems to be the place for this info...VERY nice homebrew center Henry...I am finally going to have enough Heritage (2 pair LS's & 2 pair of Heresys for HT. I just haven't seen (maybe missed?) anything about shielding my vid screem from the LS or Heresy EMF. Any help for a newbie on this? Again...SWEET custom center Henry! I may try my hand at one...

Looking for advice from anyone with experience in shielding Heresys, or LS's, for use near a TV or as a center Channel? I would like to hear from everyone out there how they use LS's or heresys for center channels, how you have them arranged. Just want to get an idea of some of the Heritage HT setups out there. Pics would be great also!

Has anyone used a Heresy as a center channel with La Scalas as fronts and a Hersy as a rear channels?
