  1. Monday bump. The speaker looks and sounds great. Will ship double-boxed.
  2. Hi, I have an RC-3 (black) for sale, in perfect working and cosmetic condition. I'm the original owner, selling because I'm going back to the 2-channel world for a while. Price: $175 plus shipping from Maine. Please email if you'd like pix, and see my ebay feedback under user name mfergus1.
  3. New England Hi Fi as in Portland, ME? Maybe you're headed back that way sometime soon? I'm in South Portland and would be interested, but shipping w/o original boxes makes me too nervous. (406 weeks--wow. )
  4. Boze? Size isn't that much of an issue. I had Heresy's paired with this amp for a while, so I'm setting my expecations a little higher.
  5. The thing that's making me hesitate on the RF-35's is actually the size, although they're only slightly bigger than the RF-25's. The room they're going into doesn't leave me a lot of space for speaker placement. It's more of a scale issue than anything else--the speakers could wind up dominating one side of a smallish room. By the way, these will be paired with a Marantz SR-18. Funny thing is, I started out thinking about RB-25's, then the RF-15. And now I've worked my way up to the RF-35. Where will it end?
  6. Has anyone lived with BOTH of these speakers for a while? Please share your thoughts on how they compare, especially for jazz and rock/pop. I've demoed them in the store and have a good sense of how the RF-35 has an edge on the bass response and soundstage. Any other thoughts? I'm planning at least one more demo before I make a decision.
  7. Missmycornwalls, if you're interested in an RC-3, let me know. I'm going to be putting mine up for sale. I've had it paired with Heresy's, but as I mentioned above, I'm moving back to 2-channel for a while.
  8. This is not exactly the reply you're looking for, but... I've used Heresies with Marantz receivers for years, and they've always sounded great. I've added an RC-3 in the mix for home theater (with a Marantz SR-18), which worked out really well. I'm about to go back to the world of 2-channel audio, and I'll probably be going with the Reference series--paired with the SR-18 for now. I'm pretty much sold on the Maranzt/Klipsch combination.
