I tried tie-wrapping to the spings under the seat, and it was just too much. They are only 4-ohms each, so keep that in mind. The ones on my couch are paired in series. I am feeding my subwoofer output to an older kenwood integratred amp so that I can control the volume independent of my HT receiver. Good luck. Doug ---------------- I'll keep that in mind, but I heard it's better to tie wrap them to the coils.

  3. I'm looking at the cheaper model of the Aura brand. Not the pro series if that makes a difference.
  4. I'm thinkin about picking a couple of these up for my couch, but i'm wondering if it's like a thump when they hit or more like a vibration? Does anyone have any experience with these.Mainly the Aura brand. Thanks
  5. To all that can help. Recently I was moving one of my forte ll's when it got hung up on the carpet and one of the risers is chipping/peeling apart only in a small section, but still big enough to annoy the avid klipsch fan. So all in all I'm looking to see if anyone knows of someone who could repair something like this. Thanks in advance
  6. You all know that Shaq has a couple single's floating around out there right??
  7. ya your probably right
  8. I'm not a really big fan of home theater only because it's really hard if not impossible to recreate the sound you get in the theaters. But if one movie has made me a fan of home theater it is Spiderman 2.The sound I got out of the movie was the best ive ever heard on my system...Just my opinion

  11. Maybe it's just me but it seem's that alot of really neglected speakers are going for very good amount's on ebay.

  13. Ya i'm sure it has something to do with the cheap components I'm using. That's next on my list of thing's to buy when I get the money. Has anyone listened to A Perfect Circle "basically Tool", but an excellent recording. There first album atleast.
  14. well first off I just want to say thanks to everyone for taking the time to answer my questions. But I think alot of you took what I said the wrong way, or maybe I wrote it that way. I was just trying to say I think hard rock is harsh to begin with, and Klipsch are very clear sounding so the harshness that is normally dampened by another speaker is only made more clear by Klipsch.
  15. I'm just looking to find out what you guy's think of your "brand" music played through your Klipsch speakers? I listen to hard rock, wich is pretty harsh. But it's only made that much more apparent by my forte ll's. I also just got them this week and am in the process of still working out all the bugs. Just basically looking to get some of your opinions on how you feel about the music you like and the Klipsch of your choice and how those two work with each other.
