  1. Ya im sure i will end up going that route just for nesn, but for now i will have to settle for the over the air signal till i can talk the girlfriend into the comcast hd.Suprisingly it was hard enough to talk her into the tv. But I figure after she watches a couple of those Gilmour Girls episodes or whatever in hd she will change her mind []
  2. Ya i can't wait they say next Wed. I will be able to pick it up. I think I'm going to try the over the air hd for a little bit before i dive in to anything.
  3. Ya it seems as though no one has this set in stock rite now
  4. I'm a big fan of Killswitch but they do not bring out the best in any speaker....
  5. I couldn't decide on the samsung which was a 46" and the sony until i had the guy at circuit city put them side by side and I thought the pic on the sony smoked the samsung. And I am by no means a fan of sony.
  6. I just bought the new Sony Kdf e42a10 it wont be in until next Wed. Nothing to do but sit and play the waiting game.Rite now I have a 32" panasonic tube tv, I think it's a vintage 95 or maybe 94, so the sony should be a vast improvement
  7. I agree with petrol on the sony
  8. Might I add it was home made......

Great job!! ---------------- actually that entertainment center at one time was almost 6 feet tall and had a top that stretched from one side to the other. What appears to be the top above the speakers was actaully a shelf, it was the second one in a group of four. We just cut the whole thing above that shelf and took one out so the speakers could slide in, and it so happened that it actually came out to look ok.

I saw someone had some they were looking to get rid of, but I will be damned if I can find them again. So I figured I would go this route and see if anyone had some the were looking to get rid of. Really don't feel like going the ebay route. thanks
  12. I'm looking to get more for the video section.
  13. Does anyone have this or have used one? And does it make a vast improvement?

If you are looking for more info/opinions on the HLN* models, check over in the avsforum site. There's a monsterously(is there such a word?) long thread there about that Samsung model(s). ---------------- That's what I was looking for Thanks
  15. If I'm correct the HLP is the newer version.
  16. Does anyone have any thought's on the Samsung hln 467 w television?
  17. I agree start with some Forte's then build off that as funds allow
  18. Spider Man 1 or 2 is sure to please....
  19. I recently picked up a Virtual Surround sound reciever. It has speaker outputs on it, but it sounds horrible when i run my forte's off of it. So I was wondering if I could run the Virtual reciever thru my Onkyo 2-channel reciever and still have the virtual surround sound?
  20. I would have to agree with the Spiderman 2 suggestion. The scene where Doc Ock is walking towards Pete after the car crashes through the cafe window, if you listen to it like I do it will shake your house..
  21. the only other place I could put the sub is behind my entertainment center wich practically a wall
  22. I am wondering if anyone in here has a subwoofer placed behind them? Say in between there seating arrangment and the back wall of the room. If so I would like to here your comments on this placement.
  23. I was wondering af anyone here has experienced the DVS in a home theater enviroment. And what there thoughts are on it?
