How does the F3 compare to the RF-62s? Are they better since reference series uses titanium dome drivers and the cerametallic subs? Edit: Nm, gonna see if i can find a place that has some RF-82s that i can demo, i think i just might be able to get em.

well, how are the F3s compared to the RF-62s? Buuuut im probably gonna end up with the F3s and a C3, dont want to be spending more than 800-850 on the front pair.

lol probably, would probably wonder how much better the F3s are compared to F2s[] I'll probably end up getting the F3s unless something happens and i cant put too much into speakers but still wondering how much better they are compared to the F2 []

I currently have the quintet III as well but just as a starting point. What are your thoughts of the F2 compared to F3, is it worth the extra 250 dollars extra for the pair? Was thinking F2/3 for fronts and a C3 for center and keeping the quintet rears for now.

Im kinda new to this type of thing so I wanted some input from those in the forum. I have the Quintet III and Sub 10 and an Onkyo SR674. I have no idea what to set the crossover for the speakers and LFE. The satellites can go from Full Band, 40, 50, 60, 80, 100, 120, 150, 200 and LFE from 80, 100, 120, 150, 200. Any help would be appreciated.

I ordered a Onkyo SR674 to go with mine, i like Onkyos. Look for features u need or may need in the future thats within your budget and as for brands I prefer Denon, Onkyo, Yamaha, Harmon Kardon, and certain Pioneers are good too. Im in the same boat when it comes to stands though, need to find a place that has the SAT2s with the adapter or maybe someone can contact omnimount and ask if u can get the adapter free if u get a older version.

does anyone know where to get the SAT2s that have the new adapter?

Radioshack sells the SAT2s but not sure if they are the newer ones that come with the bracket.

I forgot to mention, most of my bass comes from the 2.1 setup. The 4.1 speakers sound softer/weaker for some reason and nothing comes out of the sub. Maybe i blew a fuse or burnt it out?

Hi Everyone I'm pretty new to speaker systems and all. I bought a Creative DDTS hoping to use my old 4.1 and 2.1 system as a 6.2 for my tv. I hooked the 4.1 to front and rear and the 2.1 to center. One of the 2.1 speakers acts as the center but nothing comes out of the 2nd 2.1 speaker (Dolby Digital EX). Is there something I must do to have it work or will this hookup only work as a 5.1 system? Thanks
