  1. Yes, I got $1,150.00 for them because they were in mint condition and yes I had the original boxes, packing, sales brochure, sales slip, everything. I thought the Klipschorns were going to replace them....but its not gonna happen. I don't live in a round house here in Florida but there is a ton of glass everywehere and fake corners would look awful. I am answering the question if I sold my cornwall 2's..............
  2. Just thought I would let anyone interested that I am putting my brand new Klipschorns up for sale on Ebay next week. I purchased these in November 05 thinking we were building a new home that would have corners and it didn't end up happening. I wanted the last original design before the change over and I ordered them in Oak which everyone knows is no longer available. If I didn't order them when I did, I would have had to get the new design in a finish I didn't want. THEY HAVE NEVER BEEN OUT OF THE BOXES! I am in Central Florida and don't want to lose to much money but if no one has an interest by end of week I will list on Ebay. Thanks.
  3. Can anyone tell me or have a picture that shows how the grill fits on the front. I am buying one and have only seen pictures of it without the grill on. Is it curved like the RC-7 Center Speaker or sits flush. Appreciate any help. I don't really care for the curved look but I'll still buy it.
  4. Hello Amy. Can you help me? I am getting ready to buy an RSW 15" subwoofer and wanted to know how the grill fits on the front. I have never actually seen one with the front grill attached. Is it curved like the RC -7 center speaker or does it sit flush to the speaker. If you have a picture of one or where I go to see one that would help also. Thanks Very Much.

I will give them a call.......Thanks very much.
  6. I live in Tampa, Florida and was wondering if anyone knew where I could still buy a brand new one?? Has to be Black. I have struck out so far calling some dealers.........Thanks for any help.
  7. Jus letting anyone interested to know that I am selling my brand new Oak Klipschorns on Ebay listing them sometime later this week. I purchased them in November 05 because I wanted the original design and in Oak. If anyone has an interest, please let me know quickly. I'm not exactly sure what I'll let them go for but I paid $6,500. for them. They have never been used and are still in the box. I thought we were moving to a home that had corners but the plans changed.
  8. I am taking pictures over the weekend to begin the process of selling my Cornwall 2's (Oak Oil) and a brand new pair of Klipschorns (Oak Lacquer) that I purchased in 11/05 thinking I was going to build a house that would have corners. This didn't happen. I also wanted the last pair made of the original design.. The Cornwalls have been boxed up for 9 years but I preserve the wood and play them for one day every January. They are in mint condition with original boxes, manuel, I even have the original Klipsch sell sheet and the sales receipt. The Klipschorns have never been out of the box...I only opened it to make sure it was Oak. Not sure what they will sell for but I'm hoping for $1,000. and $5,800. I've seen Cornwalls like mine go as high as $1,200. I live in central Florida on the West Coast if anyone has an interest in them...but you have to act very fast. Thanks.
  9. I ordered a pair and can't wait........Thank you very much for supplying the picture.
  10. Whenever you can.....thanks for your help! I really appreciate the pictures.
  11. Do you have a picture of the medium oak with black grills from the front???? I am buying them and was able to order the old design vs. the new one that just came out.
  12. Black is sharp but I really like the Oak. Thanks to all for the pictures.
  13. I am running out of time to get these and I was hoping someone might have a great picture of a pair they could post. I have seen them in walnut and light oak. It would help me decide if I could just "see" a pair. Any comments about either color is appreciated as well........Thanks.
  14. Can you explain to me about this "bass bin." I have heard about it a few times in relationship to the Klipschorns and the La Scala. Exactly what is it??? Thanks.
  15. Amy, I know this is tough to answer but since I am getting ready to place my order right now and have the option of either the older or newer design, can you guide me on any real differences. I see the cosmetic changes but other then that they appear to be the same and will sound almost exactly the same. If you were looking at both side by side which looks better in your opinion? Also, is the new cherry wood finish just like the reference series? I realize a lot is personal choice and I think I am leaning toward the older version since they won't be available any longer. Appreciate your input on this since you have seen both.....Thanks.
  16. Amy, I was ordering the older version of the Klipshorns through my Florida dealer tomorrow in medium oak lacquer. Can I still get them? If not, is there anything in stock made up in the older version or is there a quick way to find a dealer somewhere who might have a new pair. I was buying these to match my cornwall 2's that are medium oak. Also, am I understanding that a new cornwall 3 is coming out? Approximately when? I am just trying to figure out what to order.... Thanks.
  17. I am selling my KG 5.5's. $450. for the pair if anyone has an interest. They are in Mint condition. Oak with Black Grills, still in the original box and not used now for the past eight years but have no technical or cosmetic issues. Live in Tampa area and can be reached at 813-220-2766....!
  18. Checked with UPS Ground and it would cost around $120.00. I based this on them weighing 90lbs. each and the dimensions. Box will add some more weight. If your still interested I will need to hear from you ASAP as I do have a buyer interested in everything I am selling. Thank you!
  19. If you want to buy, I would need to know where to ship it so I could get a shipping cost unless you live near by. I would want a bank check and then ship you the speaker upon receipt. It is in "MINT CONDITION." It has not been used for five years but I test it once a year. I had all this stuff when I lived up North and when I moved to Florida, the house I purchased had built in surround sound so I have just hung onto everything all this time. As mentioned, I have the original box and manual. Thanks for your interest. If I don't sell anything by this weekend, I am posting everything on Ebay so you would have a chance to buy it there as well........Thanks.
  20. I am the original owner of all this stuff. I have the original Boxes, Packing and Manuels. Before I put it all on EBAY, I wanted to give loyal Klipsch Fans first choice. I am buying a new pair of Klipshorns and going back to 2 Channel Stereo. I live in Palm Harbor, Florida just ouside Tampa so if anyone is interested and could pick up...terrific, otherwise, together we can discuss shipping opions. I would rate everything 9 out of 10 as far as cometics because nothing is perfect. Sound quality in my opinion is 10 out of 10. The Cornwalls and KG's have been boxed for the last eight years. Once a year I preserve the wood and I play them for one day. The cornwall II's were purchased in 1986, KG 5.5's in 1997...both are medium oak. The KSW-15 Sub Woofer and KSP-C6 Center Channel were purchased in 1999...both are black. Prices: Cornwall II's $1,000...KG 5.5's $500...KSW-15 $450...KSP-C6 $300.00. I am also selling my Pioneer Elite VSX 29TX for $600, comes with LCD Remote. Be glad to answer any questions.
  21. I am going to buy a pair soon and was wondering if anyone new of a dealer between Tampa and Jacksonville, including Orlando where I might be able to audition a pair. I heard them some time ago but wanted to hear them again. Once I decide to buy, I will be putting up my cornwall 2's for sale. There great but I always wanted a pair of Klipschorns so I can't turn back now. My cornwalls are in Mint condition and have been in a closet for the past six years being tested every year in January and I keep the wood finish oiled to preserve the wood. They are Oak with Black Grills and believe it or not, I still have them in the Original Boxes. They were purchased by me in 1986. I won't sell them until I place my order for the Horns. Would appreciate any feedback on getting to audition a pair........Thanks.
  22. Will be selling my cornwall two's soon. They were built in 1986, original boxes and are in mint condition. Oak wood with black grills. I am the original owner and live outside Tampa, Florida. The asking price is undertermined as yet but will be high. The pair have spent the last six years in storage in my house but, cleaned and tested every year. I am talking to dealers about a new pair of Klipshorns so the sale will help me pay for them plus I always wanted a pair. Will let everyone know when I put them up for sale.
  23. I am getting ready to buy my first pair of Klipschorns brand new in the Florida area and I have been checking pricing. List price is now $7,500 for the pair plus tax. The best I can do so far is $500 off from the local dealer. Any recomendations or places to buy at a better price would be appreciated. I don't really want to buy used, I'd like own them new right from the start. I also understand they have made recent modifications and am curious if anyone has purchased a new pair recently and what the modifications were and was it an improvement. Thanks for your imput. P.S. I have a "mint" pair of Klipsch Cornwalls in Oak that I might sell to help pay for these. They were purchased in 1986 and I still have the box, manuel, sales receipt, etc. Wonder what I could get for them and best way to unload. Again Thanks.
