I'm sure this has been covered before, but I'm sure I missed it.. How do the Cornwalls compare with the Chorus 11 and or Forte 11.. BASS? overall sound, pro's con's, what say you?

WOW!!!!! You got me ALL confused NOW.. Please slow down and help me out.. WHAT is and is NOT a good center speaker with Cornwalls 1, and Forte 11. I'm currently using a pair of hearsys together as my front channel. NOW is the ACADEMY or the newer C-7 or is it K-7, a good match for a center channel speaker? Keep it simple, but truthful!

From what I can see on the front face plate, this is digital/audio, 18bit 8 times oversampling with the carver digital time lens? I have this hooked up to the CD RCA hook ups on the back of my receiver. I also have a multi disc DENON DCM-320 CD player, good unit but the carver does seem to sound more true.

I have an older Carver cd player. model TL3300,, Its approx. 14/15 years old, works good.. NOW my question is how do these older cd players compare to the newer units. What do you gain or loose? Is it worth investing in a newer model unit.. When I purchased this Carver tl3300, it was the top of the line in its time.. I currently have a NAD DVD/CD combo player, and I (hear) the Carver as sounding more clearer. I paid $699.00 for this NAD unit.. HOW ABOUT SOME FEEDBACK!!!

Forte 2 front, Cornwalls rear, and a pair of heresys front center, also my TV stand.

I have a neighbor that is going to sell his Marantz sr8400 receiver at the end of the month. How is this unit overall and would it be compatable with Klipsch speakers. He wants $750.00 for it, says its approx. ONE year old. Thank you for your input......

Hello all, I am in the process of finally hooking everything up for my home surround sound system. I need some good advise/suggestions on my project. I'm using Cornwalls for the front L & R (mains) Fortes L & R for the rear. AND would like to use my Hearsys(pair) hooked up together for the fronts. These would also be my projection (Sony Wega) TV stand.. Go easy on me I'm new at this. Have had 2 channel stereo for 15 years. Thanks.

How does the Cornwall speaker compare to the Forte 1 or 2 sound quality.. Whats the diff. between Forte 1 and Forte 11. Thanks for your input.

Al, thanks for your input. NOW whats the cost of your crossovers, how are they superior, and complication of instalation, keep it simple!!!!! and how long to get a set? thank You.

I would take $625.00 plus shipping costs It is one of Yamaha's best AV receivers and the price is right. 130 watts per 7 channels..
