Me too, with Klipsch. Tried Yamaha & didn't like it. Moved to Harman Kardon, much better. Switched to Outlaw separates, much much better.I'm going with the Yamaha as the culprit.
The source is critical. Some of my cd's & DVD concerts I just refuse to listen to because of the sound mix. When they get it right it's wonderful though. Don't have any problem with TV after tweaking formats.....Dish HD.

I searched remote central & logitech forums. They say the most used buttons are the quickest to fail; makes sense. My 880 is out of warranty so i'm stuck.
One work around is to remap some buttons.

The 8 button on my 880 has stopped working, so I've been researching repairs....see [Now with the ONE sometimes I have to press the hard button several times to get a response.
] Turns out it's probably a rubber issue under the keypad & not an easy fix. Maybe you have a similar issue?

I've never watched Idol but this year I got hooked on the Voice. Don't know how it works but there's some good singers.Carl is right, there are some very good singers on there this time. Give it a try.

I have a friend using an Anthem amp with original 7's. It sounds very nice. His front end is a Yamaha receiver & i'm not much of a Yamaha fan with Klipsch.

In my experience heritage & reference was not a good match. While not the heritage line, the KG series are on the small side & cheap.

I've had the same experience. Nice looking speakers Rick.I really enjoy meeting forum members. I've yet to meet one that I wouldn't consider it an honor to hang out with (can't say they'd think the same of me though!!!!!)

I took the LSAT a few years ago & the logic section kicked my *** so no school for me. My closest friends are lawyer's so I tried.

A buddy of mine had Paradigm towers that look similar to what you reference, can't remember exactly. They sounded very nice with his Yamaha & Anthem amps setup. He has a great room accoustically. I've since talked him into buying new Klipsch though....sounds better.
