Tom, thats HUGE... wouldn't that technology (if integrated into all future aircrafts) mean that you have supersonic flights over populated areas and not just over the atlantic and such? By implication it should make air travel faster than ever before by leaps and bounds.

what I like a lot about this list is the fact that it spans all genre of music and not just rock or blues or jazz or hip-hop. although the position of the albums on the list could be argued as to which should be higher or lower, its definitely a well thought out list. nice post Dee

the bass guitar is one awesome instrument, a lot of bands these days don't seem to realize it. bass guitar tones seem to be very faint and almost vanishing in a lot of new age rock, or maybe thats just me?

month and a half ago I was visiting India, and the temp lingered around 110-120F the entire month except for maybe the odd day where it'd rain and be slightly cooler? man it was ridiculously hot... I couldn't be outside in the pollution and heat for more than 1/2hr I'd feel my grey cells shrinking and feel my sanity slip away

I've always been an F1 fan myself as well.. ever since I was 7 or 8yrs old. One of the first races I saw was the death of Senna, I still remember that like yesterday. I love the technology involved in F1.. I love everything about it, the shape of the cars, the amazing sound, the strategy involved in winning a race for a particular driver, yadda yadda. Its still a dream of mine to see an F1 race in person. Although Nascar on tv doesn't interest me whatsoever, I wonder if I'll enjoy it in person. I think the tracks on the F1 circuit are far more interesting to watch, and require more skill. I agree that F1 can sometimes get very boring with only the top two or three teams going at it, and the gap between the front runners and those in the back is quite large. All said and done, I'll forever like F1

I've travelled to over 18countries on a 6 1/2month cruise on a ship which was owned by my dad's former company while we lived in India (while on this trip, made out with a spanish chick who was 17 and worked at a chocolate shop near Bilbao, Spain.... oh by the way, i was 12 )

A cop bullied me when a bunch of me and my friends were walking back to our hotel in a town in northern Ontario (it was a mild racism incident) so when I happened to see his cruiser parked in the parking lot of a 24hr coffee shop, I pee'd in through a gap in his window onto his seat ... and waited at a distance to watch him climb back in after 10mins n drive away

I had the luck of being at the biggest concert when the rolling stones and friends (incl ac/dc, the guess who, rush, flaming lips, the tea party, the isley brothers and the list goes on) performed a 11hr concert after toronto was stuck by sars a few years ago. It was such an amazing event, me and my buddies got there at 5.30am and waited for hours so we could get a spot close to stage before people started cramming in. The day was HOT, so they have trucks and trucks of free water bottles. Along with that they sprayed down the crowd every half hour with fire hoses to keep us cool. Over 500,000 people and I was about 5feet from the stage, I turn around and can stare ar half a million people. Its an image I'll never forget, it was a great concert too. What can I say... seeing AC/DC standing next to 2 australian lesbians will go down as one of my best times ever

I too think that it would be great is Waters and the rest of Floyd could do a reunion. It seems sort of outrageous that he is trying to auction the seats to squeeze out as much as he can from his "loyal" fans. It shouldn't be this much about the money, it should be about the show..but what will the show be when DSOTM is performed by 1/4th of Floyd. I'll wait for Pulse as well.

Any of William Hung, I can't believe they gave him a recording contract and he put out a CD. I was one of the unfortunate who heard a couple of the songs off of it and please, take my advice and never do that. I'm scarred.

"back in black" is definitely a song I've heard one too many times. I love ac/dc but enough already. There was a day in my recent memory where I heard that song 3 times in an evening on different stations.
and oh, anymore of Green Day will definitely push me over the edge, how much radio play did their last album get? it was ridiculous ....

I miss Vespas, I used to ride one to school when I was a kid in India. There was something about them that I always liked, never could point my finger at it..but it definitely have a different vibe than riding a sport bike or a cruiser and such. Congrats RTTR, lets see some pics now... you know the drill!

Chuck, very nice story. Welcome back to Klipsch, I have a pair of KG2s as well. I've always secretly wanted Gary's Thorens, but am too far (shipping is not an option), and still only a student...but someday! Very nice score on the Khorns, and heresys too. You're certainly getting back into Klipsch real fast, tell us what you think of the Thorens with either the Heresys or Khorns.

That san marino gp was the third I've ever seen, I was quite the young kid but was fascinated by F1 way back then. I listened to the commentators talk about Prost and Senna all race long but it was only after Senna's death that I read about why he was regarded as being one of the best to ever ride behind an F1 car.... watching that crash on the san marino was so surreal.
