Ok, just to clear things up, i wish i never started this thread. It was not my intent to make it go this far. He did it and took it under his warranty, since there was a problem. The buzzing is only in the background and you can hear it when nothing is playing or in between tracks, or on silent songs. Of course, you can't hear it when you're playing songs real loud. It doesn't affect the overall sound. It's just there in the background. I apologized to Ryan for this and i am now apologizing on here for sounding rebellious. I am not that type of person at all, and this is just a mistake that i didn't anticipate. Sorry to all who were offended. Thanks.

Yep, that is what i use. It is real nice, I agree. I use it to dust my whole room and electronics. It's a real time saver and works wonderfully.

Is that towards me speedball because i was bumping him up with saying you can't go wrong with buying an amp from him. I made that mistake not to.

I am fairly new into tubes, and it depends on the listener. Some people swear by tubes and others like ss. Personally, i love the sound of tubes, especially with klipsch. When i went from tubes to my pioneer sx-980, after a week of listening to a scott 299, I wanted a tube amp immediately. Tube amps are nice, but you may want to read and understand a little bit about them before you buy. I was going to buy one at the end of 2005, but decided to wait since i didn't know anything about them, so i got into tubes at the end of 2006 and read more and decided on a scott 233. The sound is impeccable. Tubes can be a pain also, but so can SS. I've had a buzzing problem with my 233 more out of the right channel, but hopefully it will soon be fixed. You just have to watch. Trust me though, i've read problems with new tube amps too. Scott's are highly reguarded on this forum and for the money, everyone says you have to spend much more with tube preamp and amp to match or barely beat the scotts. There is a 299b and 222c for sale right now on the klipsch forum. Already rebuilt by Craig (nos valves), so you can't go wrong. I hope this helps.

Among all of this, even though the buzzing isn't fixed, i have to look at the good side also. Ryan took this in and did a heck of a lot of rebuilding to it, and i do appreciate that. It does sound much better all the way around. It took him a lot of time to do all of this, and it's a very nice thing to do for no cost. Even if the buzzing is still there, it's like i have a new amp, and i can't complain about that. Thank You.

Yeah, i can't take it. Even, in between rock songs it sticks out. It's ridiculous. Just out of curiosity, are any old amps like this naturally? Like, i know this one is suppose to be quiet, but man, glad i didn't get one that is like it that can't be fixed and is natural. Anyhow, my parents are probably going to kill me sending it out again after this past ordeal, but it's my amp and money, and gosh dang, when something isn't right, when it can be, i'm not going to be satisfied until it's right. Craig, i'll probably ship it out March 5. Now i got to package it up again. Something supposedly happened to my good nad t753 box and rotel rcd 1072 box that i used to send it to ryan, and i didn't get them back. Supposedly there was a flood in his storage room and my boxes were ruined. GRRHHH. So, i'll come up with something none the less.

So what do you think? It looks nice to me, but it's still not fixed, as far as buzzing goes. I hope you enjoy the naked pictures anyhow.

A month ago, i posted a bunch about my scott 233. Well, ryan decided to take it in under his warranty and try and fix it for free. Six weeks later and fifty parts later it sounds real nice, but the problem originally intended for service is not fixed. It still buzzes ridiculously out of the right channel. She's going to Craig real soon, and hopefully it will be a complete unit when this last and pesky character of the amp is fixed. I will now post the pictures of the underside.

It's 600 for the speakers, and 200 for the receiver, but as a package, he'll sell it for 700. I don't know if that old of denon is as good as my dad's panasonic. I know denon is better, but not sure about supportable digital formats like DD and DTS. Yep, they are klipsch speakers.

I came across an add for ksf 8.5, ksf c5, and ksf s5 for $600. Is this a good deal? He says it's an excellent condition and lightly used. My dad isn't too fussy, but i still want it to be nice. I heard they were good. He has a panasonic receiver right now, so they would probably like better electronics. The seller would also throw in a denon avr 3200. That's an old receiver though, and i'm not sure about the digital formats. Open to suggestions. I didn't know if there are better deals than this or not.

Yes, somehow i fixed it. I don't know if it's from restarting the computer, or from clicking on webcam under setup programs and clicking on it as setup. Either way it works now, and it's all good. Thanks for your assistance.

I have an hp computer and i use the hp video device.

Ok, here's the diagnostics. I can see him and we can hear each other, but he can't see me. I think it's on my end because under options when i test the camera, it shows an error for not being able to show any video. I should be able to see myself and i can't. Under my muvee video software, it works. The light comes on beside my camera, but on skype, the light doesn't come on, so somehow it needs to be configured to work with skype and i don't know how to get it to turn on. On the taskbar it's set to on, so something with skype isn't opening it.

Thanks, Skype is what a couple of my friends tried but they can't seem to get it to work. I just want to talk back and forth using the webcam. My friend has a mac and i have a pc. Same as the other instance for where my other friends use skype and it doesn't work, but they probably don't have something set right. I am not sure. I'll have to check it out, or if you know please give me a heads up. Thanks
