  1. I would have thought that they wouldbe on clearance but my rep will only take $50 off each. I'll likely stick with the book shelf speakers. I'll try to hear the difference sometime at a local store. Thanks for your help.
  2. Here is what my room set up looks like.
  3. Thanks for taking the time and your input. That sounds like it makes sense. I do not have any space between my couch and the rear wall. When I am watching a movie, I will pivit the speakers slightly towards the couch. It's funny, I don't want to lose the music quality by going with the RS25's but I rarely have my rears on when listening to music anyway. I just wonder how much an improvement they would be. I would hate to waste the money. The RB's are barely a year old.
  4. I am currently using RB25's as my rears and I was told by a local sales rep that if I went with the RS25 it would make a difference. Can anyone confirm this? I have no doubt that it will sound better but is it worth the cost of upgrading? Please help.
  5. I have had friends that are gay or turned to it. I respect gay people and I do not hold hostility toward them. I know my example may have come out a little harsh. I apologize if I was offensive. I appreciate your thoughts as well. I don't agree with same sex relationships just as much as I don't agree with sex outside of marriage. Both defile a beautiful plan that the Lord made for us all. It's my faith and belief in the bible that I get my values. I support gays in my work place and I have love and admiration for all types of people. I just would not be entertained by the content of the movie.
  6. Thanks for the recommendation but I would not like to see this. I didn't know what this movie was about before your review. I do not have any intrest in watching a movie with a gay theme. That is perverse and I do not find it apealing in any way. Some people are into beastiality but it doesn't make it right or beautiful. Love between and man and a woman is the way it was intended to be and that's where I draw the line.
  7. I have a kef 10' with my reference speakers and it just about shakes my whole house. It has more then enough juice to satisfy at the price range you are looking at.
  8. It's been quite disapointing since Ultimate Electronics pulled out of Texas. I used to go there a lot to sample the Reference line. I was hoping that "The Magnolia" store would pick them up. I heard Tweeters used sell Klipsch but no longer do. When I was first turned on to Klipsch through an Ultimate sales rep I loved them the first time I heard them. I even went to other stores who did not carry them and nobody had anything negative to say about Klipsch. In fact it was on the contrary, the Tweeter guys actually said they wish they still sold them. That how I ultimately came to build my current system. These stores are nice becuase they are everywhere in the Dallas area. I wonder what it would take for Magnolia to sell higher end Klipsch speakers.
  9. Not sure if any of you are Josh Groban fans but his "Live at the Greek" is pretty good. The instuments sound awesome and there's a few good violin solos. Bela Fleck also has a solo that sounds fantastic. Josh is no Andrea Bocelli but I do like his music.
  10. Thanks for the advice. I agree with your suggestion of upgrading on component at a time. I never really thought about doing that. I'm sure my wife would thank you for the insight also. My sub currently has an option to switch over from music to cinema. I usually watch movies though. I would say that's my biggest reason to upgrade. If you think that the two RF-7's will sound better then my one sub, how about going without one? I wonder if I would miss it.....I want something clean that would give out a nice deep bass without sounding too too aggressive. I wouldn't want to spend more the $1,000 or so. Any recommendations? I usually keep my sub in a corner so the size wouldn't be that big of a factor.
  11. What would you recommend I go to? 12" or 15"? That kind of stinks as I like my current sub a lot. Do you know what would be comparable to what I currently own that will fit in with the new configuration and would be fairly easy on the budget?
  12. I have the upgrade bug and I am considering getting a pair of RF-7's and placing my RF-25's to my rear surrounds. My question is, will I have to upgrade my Kef 2150 10" sub. I REALLY like the way it sounds but I'm afraid that the new mains will over power it. Here are the specs to my current sub: PSW 2150 Frequency range- 30Hz-140Hz Amplifier- 250
  13. Not sure. I'm sure you can do a search on the internet or look for a direct dealer in this site. GO Florida State!!!!

    Batman Begins

I just watched Batman Begins last night for the very first time on DVD. Great movie!!! I liked it a lot better then the previous 4. As far as sound is concerned, I think it has "The Incredibles" beat. Hard to beleive but true
