  1. I tested the Promedia 2.1 at BB. The sub had an on/off switch and a fuse and the speakers were hard wired. What version is this? I thought the newer ones did not have the switch. There was no serial on the sub and the box sticker read Klipsch 2014. Thanks ahead of time.

  2. What are the differences between the Heresy and the Heresy II? Are the Fortes and Cornwalls much heavier than the Heresies? Shipping can be prohibitively expensive. Your are right about subwoofers--all boom. At least the ones I have tested.

  3. I am looking at buying a pair of Heresy speakers to mate with my NAD 7240 PE. I listen chiefly to orhestral and some vocal. I like to hear the instruments and the vocals. What type of performance can I expect from the Heresies? Do Heresies like a lot of power input?

  4. Since I mostly use computer speakers for music CDs and internet radio and not gaming would I benefit from 4.1 or 5.1 speakers. If I use 4.1s or 5.1s am I just getting expensive two channel performance? By the way if use 4.1s say with internet radio am I still getting just two stereo channels. Doesn't 4.1 require a 4.1 transmision or recording. I'll put out for a better system but I want to know the fundamentals of it.

  5. Why is it that if you read the specs the Promedia 2.1s do not have a low pass frequency? Also, I noticed that the highpass freq on the 5.1s is lower now than that of the 2.1s. How should this influence my purchasing. I am planning on buying one of these Klipsch systems soon.
