  1. How do they sound? Are you completely happy with them ?
  2. Has anyone any experiences or opinions on Emotiva amplifiers and how they combine with Klipsch speakers? I have read some reviews suggesting their outstanding performance is second only to their value for money. Any one out there agree or disagree ?? Thanks.
  3. Thanks for your reply Soundbroker. My passion is DVD concerts as well as a good movie. Can these surrounds handle the musical side of things Regards
  4. Does anyone recommend or otherwise the performance of the 62's. Can they be pushed a little harder than most rears? Are they detailsd or just a sound sprayer? Thanks
  5. Any opinions at all on the 62's ???????
  6. I need to purchase a pair of rears to go with my RF 7's .Has anyone any experience with the RS 62's ?? Any recommendations for rears if these are incompatable ? Thanks
  7. Thanks a lot Zuzu for the reply. Could you tell me please how sigificant was the improvement between the NAD and the 1080 ? Was it greater than the 1080 and the 1090 ? My gut feeling is the 1080 but if you with your educated ear and impressive audio recommend the 1090 i'll have to wait and save. Thanks again Zuzu on yor insights .
  8. Hey Zuzu How do the 7's go with your 1090 ? I have to make a decision soon between the 1090 or the 1080 and would appreciate your opinion. I'm sure either way I go it wont be a mistake. Thanks
  9. Thanks for all the information guys but tell me then what is the motivation for bridging amps together bearing in mind the distortion issue ?
  10. I think that is a valid point Leo. I will do an A / B comparison without being captivated by stats . The bottom line as you say mate is the sound not the specs. Thanks Leo the 1080 looks the short priced favorite
  11. The bottom line for me is which option will get the best out of the 7's .In Sydney the RB 1080 goes for $1550 whilst the RB 1070 go for $900 . He will do 2 1070's for $1500 as he insists it will provide superior results . I will do an A / B comparison but the distortion issue with bridging 2 anmps concerns me more than the increase in power by doing the same.
  12. DOES ANYONE HAVE AN OPINION ON WHICH WOULD WORK BEST WITH THE RF 7'S ? A ROTEL RB 1080 (2 X 200 W ) OR 2 RB 1070'S ( 2 X 130 W ) BRIDGED TOGETHER . I WAS JUST ABOUT TO BUY THE 1080 WHEN ADVISED ( by a rotel dealer ) THAT THE 2ND OPTION WOULD SOUND MUCH BETTER . I DONT TRUST HIM , I TRUST THE FORUM FOR INFO. THANKS
  13. Does anyone out there have any feedback on the CDT-5800's .I am considering them as my rears as I have limited options due to roomsize. Are they able to be pushed fairly hard as Iike to listen to DVD concerts at realistic spl's. Would they be a reasonable match for my RF7'S, Velodyne hgs18 or would they be overwhelmed. Also would it be a mistake to purchase a Rotel rb 1080 and put it through my Denon 4802 using the Denon for the centre and rears whilst powering the 7's with the Rotel? Could that work OK or not as I feel I'm not getting the best from the 7's with the Denon Reciever and Ive heard seperates are the way to go with Klipsch Reference series. Thanks in advance for any feedback. I really am uncertain about inceiling speakers but if it was to work it would have to Klipsch!!!
  14. Thanks skepjk01 for your reply. I was on the verge of obtaiining a Rotel rb 1080 for my 7's but I suffered a major financial setback. She's gone, I'm back and I want to grab an amp that will get the best out of the 7's rather than a Denon 4802 which is OK but doesn't do it for me. I have a Velodyne HGS 18 and Ilike it at concert levels. The topend is a bit much at present. I'm 49 and the older I get the louder ,cleaner and tighter this old Aussie loves it.
  15. Does anyone have any experience or info on Emotiva amps? After reading a review in Audioholics about the RPA-1 I am considering a partnership with it a my RF 7's. I cant find a bad word about them. Thanks.
