Got it! I talked to the techs at Crown and he said to use Rolls MB15b Promatch 2-way Signal Converter.

Dont I need 70volts to push the amp? I have hook it up and barely get any sound.

Ok I have the subs and a amp. What would be a good preamp so I can hook my sub out RCAs from my Yamaha RX-Z9 to the Crown CTs2000?

Poor choice? I was talking to the Crown tech guy and he said it work great for what I was doing? But I will be looking into others. Like I said I am going to build the sub into a box and then change out amps till I find a good one. Don't think I've ever seen one. Your cheapest watt/dollar amps are going to be pro-amps. They don't have built in eq but they're a great value. Actually many do have built in EQ. The Crown XTIs for example even though they are a poor choice for a sub amp due to low output at low frequencies. Crest Pro Lite, Peavey IPR DSP, and the Behringer NU1000DSP may be worth a look.

Its a 1500 watt for the 12" fathom. Sweet. I think that fathom uses a 2500 watt amp with that driver, I see why you wanted so much power. I am going to build the subs into a box and then change out amps till I find the one I like.

That is the same amp as the plate amp. Just one is plate and the other shelf unit. Has any one here used the plate amp?

I have heard a lot of bad things about that amp plate. Where can I find a BASH 1000 watt amp plate?

The only thing about a pro amp is fan noise and do they come with a trigger?

Bridgable? I dont have a problem with a two channel amp.
