  1. Hello, Thanks for the replies. I thought that the RF82 is the same as the RF5 because the drivers are exactly the same, but that doesnt change anything. I would still like to hear about poeple that experienced both speakers, and maybe share the difference with me and others on this forum. Wolter
  2. Hello everyone, I'm wondering about the differences between the RF 5 VS RF 82, they are only going to be used in stereo atm. I can't listen to them because the store is to far away. The reason i'm asking this is because I probably want to buy one pair of RF 82 or RF 5 in the vacation. they are both priced the same. I will have a listen at both of them probably but not anytime soon, so that's why I am asking here. Thanks in advance Wolter
  3. Hello, I bought my Ifi system a week ago, and today it stopped working. It was turned off because I was trying a different location, and then I turned it on and nothing happened no pop noise and the light on my controll dock doesn't burn. I think it's a fuse problem because it isn't powering on anymore. Now my question is, Where is the fuse and how do I check if it is still working? Wolter
  4. Hello, Well my story started 2 years ago when I bought the promedia 2.1, I didn't know anything about audio, speakers ect I was only 14 years old so that didn't matter much. So I when they arived I was like WOW these sound incredible and I wonderded how that was possible and I went reading about speakers and quality stuff, after doing some research I went ahead and built my own floorstanders powered by an old onkyo amp I bought somewhere cheap. I recently bought a new onkyo TX SR 604, and I'm now saving for an Klipsch RW12 that I'm going to buy next year. so this is a short story about my new audio experience powered by klipsch 2 years ago and still rocking hard. Wolter.
  5. "Bump" Edit: Sorry for my broken english.
  6. Thanks again for the reply, So if i understand correctly, "1/8 space" means measured on the floor and in the corner? And for the last question to stop bothering you people:P, 14 by 14 feet isn't to big for the RW12 and I can still play it pretty loud? Thanks again. Wolter.
  7. Thanks for the reply's, I can get it for less then 400 euro's thats about 400 USD I believe, and normally they cost around 700 euro's here. And yes I need the 230 volt version. Edit: And BTW what does 1/8 space mean? Wolter.
  8. Hello fellow Klipsch fans, I need some subwoofer advice from you experienced people. I'm looking at buying the Klipsch RW12 since that's the only subwoofer I can afford. The room size is about 14 by 14 feet and it has a carpet floor, I will mainly use it for music because I dont have the surround speakers for movies yet. I'm going to use it on my Onkyo TX SR 604 receiver and with two floorstanding speakers they stop at about 35 Hz. Will the RW12 keep up in this room size? Will it sound good on a carpet floor? I think I have a few more questions but I forgot at the moment. And BTW this is going to be my first subwoofer. Thanks for the reply's Wolter.
  9. Thank you very much Jc. But I do have a few more questions if you don't mind: Did you calculated the XO for 2 woofers or just one? And when I am gonna built my new speakers, do I hook em up at 4 or 8 ohms to my amplifier? Again many thanks Jc. Wolter
  10. The specs: http://www.visaton.com/english/artikel/art_167_2_14.html This link works. And now for the tweeter: http://www.visaton.com/english/artikel/art_166_2_8.html And the other one works too. Wolter
  11. Hi. JC, if you want the information on the squaker and the tweeter then please tell me I can give you all the information on them you need. I probably can get the squakers for half the price, but I'm not sure yet. Wolter
  12. Ofcourse, I should have known that[] Thanks. Wolter
  13. Hi, and thanks again for the reply. Yes I already made the drawlings (with paint, please dont laugh[]). And I also choose the tweeter and midrange, they are both titanium dome speakers. The tweeter is 1" and the midrange is 2" they both have a sensetivity of 92 dB, and with 2 woofers that will give me a sensetivity of around 93dB all together. Since the woofers have a sensitivity of 88 dB. And when you add a woofer it will add 6 dB. Please tell me what information you want on them, and I'll give you all the specs. Also could you tell me what XO means? I'm not familliar with that word. Thanks again. Wolter
