Thanks guys for the imput, I will have them on some foam or carpet underpadding or both.
To go upright, they would be to tall for my liking. To much of them will exposed to the possibilties
of a rock or something. Jay

Yea! Right on guys, I was thinking the same thing about the EQ. I very rarely use the tuner, it's just a match
to my other Marantz equipment. As for as the the sound processing, with the coming of CD's and such
that equipment is more for visual effects than processing.

Jeff, I will not have the pioneer's in the system once i hook up the k-horns.
Just so you know the 1500's were an oversea's model, the US model was the hpm 150's.

thanks bro, i have seen and heard these. they are in real good shape and they sounded very clear.
i would say they are about a 7-8 out of 10 as they sit.

It's all about acoustics, size and space have a lot to do with reproduction; also placement.
this is my opinion and experience. you must decide for yourself the desired sound you are looking for.
