Hi everybody! I just want ed to update you guys and get some opinions on my 2 channel listening room. I am slowly converting it from a siting room into a 2 channel listening room. There has never been TV or anything in there, its all in the theater downstairs. I am a bit unsure on the effect of the cathedral ceilings in this "great room." I am starting out little, I really wanted Cornwalls, but they are not in the budget right now. So I ordered new Heresy III's . I think they will go great with all the wood. Anyways, the WAF just nose dived. The Finance just figured out what I am up too. I am getting called everything but a white man right now. Anyway, the tube amp is going on the chest, with my Squeezebox next to it. I am not sure if this is going to work out or not, but hopefully it will. The Squeezebox has a volume control, and I have very high quality MP3's, so it should work, right? I haven't got a definitive answer yet..... I think the main sitting area will be the long couch on the wall. I don't plan on sitting their listening too much, but I work out of the house, so I am at the Kitchen table on the laptop most of my day. That is why I am hoping the Squeezebox remote will come in handy. I will have tubes and a remote, right??? Anyway, your comments are welcome. I am sure I overlooked something, so thats why I am putting to the panel of Klipsch judges for clarification. Enjoy!

I updated with my recent additions! Everything is coming together, I'm still wondering how the dynaco and the Squeezebox will play...... I hope nicely!

Worth it? A 20 year vetran salesman coudent say enough about it. Seemed a little hokey, but I ordered it anyway for speaker wire. I got my Blue Jeans cable in too, seems like quality stuff. Its all coming together, just need to pull the trigger on the Squeezebox.... anybody got a line on one??

Holy Cow Heresy II's just sold for $770
Clarence replied to Chris Elm's topic in 2-Channel Home Audio
Well, I just got back from Today's audio in Flint, MI. Listened to and ordered a pait of WL Heresy III's. they also had II's set up, which I compared. The difference is night and day. The II's seemed a bit harsh and bright for my taste. The III's were a bit more mellow, and seemed to go louder without getting harsh. Just my opinion. I decided that Cornwalls are out of the question at this point in the game. WAF coupled with Wallet Acceptance Factor. I just couldent justify spending 3000 for Cornwall III's right now. However, I do know that I will own the HIII's until the day I die. [] -
