skidmarks,when i built my cornerhorns in 1976 i put the top grills on for awhile ,but i took them of to see if i could hear the difference,big time!!! anything directly in front of a horn will have a tendency to reflect sound waves back up the horn !!!grill cloth is mainly for looks,i ended up tossing mine out ,if you like the sound that way ,its because ,they sound better that way,i say leave them of,good luck and rock on ,mike/mwb157.

hey pimpson,i built a pair of speakerlab Ks when i was in highscholl,however,me and my freind glenn cut the parts and each assembled our own pair,im not trying to discourage you,but these are very diificult to build! i do still have them,but they are just collecting dust,they have knew tweeters,woofers,x overs and rebuilt midrange comp. drivers,if you would like to talk about them,give me a call @ 360-651-8992,mike mwb157.

mr def,to stop chuckaling refer to eminence kilomax 15A,rated at a true 1,250 watts rms! these cornerhorns as well as klipschorns,do in fact use 1/2 inch in the folded basshorns,as well as soom 3/4 inch. you suspect wrong,13 pair have been produced to date,why do you people think klipsch is the only company to make cornerhorns,klipsch,speakerfactory,speakerlab, electrovoice,eclipse,and others have produced cornerhorn speakers over the years,cheers mwb157.
