Welcome to the forum Martin....
This meeting was very dangerous for me, because now i want to spend a lot of money to pic one of these items up. Not only the Klipschorn , but also the Cornwall tells me. that it is time to change something.
If that's the issue you should leave this place at once... Things like that happen here all the time, plus we always like to spend other peoples money.

WOW, that really looks good and matches, that's the best part and fits your needs.
$150... that is great and the shelves are adjustable, nice...

Shake, I have a question, how many people can you wake up if you crank everything up at the same time? I hope you don't use that setup as your alarm clock.
KlipschHead, room looks really good. How do you like your AV123 sub's?
xjohnx, nice setup. Do you have all the equipment listed that you are running?

Funny you ask this question today. I stopped in one of the local BB to purchase Cd's today. If I catch the sales paper and see a new cd coming out I try to pick it up that first week since it's always $3 to $4 cheaper, movies also. They have a lot of older Cd's for $7.99 each, can't beat that, trying to get all the Cd's of certain people that I like and that price helps out. Also good to check out are the "open box" items, tv included as then can be $50 to over $100 off.
As others have also said, a good place to go and look at the items then go home and pick up on-line for a cheaper price.

They are good for music but my Cornwalls are a lot better. It is nice to put on the radio or a cd and let the 5.1 RF-83 setup breath it does shake the walls and I can hear nice and clear outside. I guess it all really depends on what kind of music you listen to but for me I'm happy.
Just wanted to let you know that you can still get them and work around the room issues.

Horn-fan,
Hello and Welcome from the other side of the pond.
Your English is good no need to worry. Thanks for the extra pictures, like I said earlier sounds and looks like everyone had a great time.

I don't know if Klipsch has ever participated in this event over the years.
It always looks like a good time and I keep saying that I want to go but never do.
Have fun and take some pictures if you can.

Great to hear that you were able to fins the fix.
Also, Welcome to the forum...
Now that you have all your speakers working, like they should, post some pictures when you get a minute. We always like to see pictures...

You might want to start a thread in the "Garage Sale" section looking for used K-33E. See what happens, people have some and you can get them even cheaper.

Sounds like a great time....
The image of everyone with big smiles on your face is the same thing that happened to me the first time I heard K-Horns...

I was going to say that I have about that much room between my RF-83 and sit closer then 12 feet. Just the limitations of the house but I still wanted the RF-83 so I got them and just worked with it. It sounds really good to me and my gf, that is the only thing that matters.

but a lot better then being on the other end.

Here are the pages for the product archive and current models for the "Architectural Speakers".
They should be listed there. Once you find the model call Klipsch and see if hey can help you out.
Also, Welcome to the forum.

I ordered a backup 103R from Comet Supply. Kind of hard to pass one up for $200. I'll let you know if I actually get it. Lots of unfavorable reviews on this place.
Mike
Tag to see how this works out.

Welcome to the forum...
I'm sure others will be along shortly to help. To me it looks like a short horn, a full front picture would help to identify it. A closer picture of the serial number would also help, it looks like 895.
A fine looking speaker your friend has there....

This could get really good unless you put up a max. dollar amount...
Others have suggested in the past the ZU/DL-103 and ZU/DL-103R
From what I know about them, you can either purchase the cart from them with the mod already done or send in your cart and they will mod it. They also do them in runs so you might want to contact them to find out when the next one will be.

They really do look good as there are. My vote is to leave them as is....
I just asked the question if you still could put a border cause you mentioned it but didn't say if you still could at this point.

I was going to mention some rollers and maybe a lazy-susan type of top. That way you wouldn't have to have the rollers extend out as far but still be able to get to the back of the equipment. Then I seen that you wanted to get it done ASAP so.....

Do post some pictures when you are finished.

Copying, ripping music CD's
in General Klipsch Info

That is the exact process. The program will see that you only have one CD burner and process from there.
I use Nero for exact copies, works great every time. I believe they have a free lite version if you want to try it out.
