I'm a newbie to the forum and the Klipsch family. Just brought a set of '84 Lascala's into my livingroom. I like the raw look of the speakers but my wife says I better make them look nicer or they go out to the garage. They do not have any finish on them and have a few small (less than a quarter inch) of missing pieces of lamanent on the corners.
Looking for some advice on how to patch the missing lamanent (ie, wood filler, etc) and how to put on a finish.
Do I need to remove the speaker components before sanding and applying the finish?
Any and all advice is welcome.
Thanks,
Gary
