SVS
in Home Theater
I have been around for a long time, but dont post much.
I have a question.
What message does it send to you about Klipsch when they let you talk, sale and push forum members and viewers into using another co.'s product on the Klipsch web site?
1. That klipsch is so "big" that the sales lost to this are so small that it does not matter.
2. That Klipsch thinks that the other co.'s product is better.
3. That Klipsch does not know this is going on.
4. That Klipsch is such a confident leader in the industry that they can hold to their "open forum" policy even if they may loose some sales.

Hey Guys
....in 1958 the H-1 was re-named the Heresy. They only thing it wanted to do was be a center ch. for the Khorns setup as a 3-way audio system in a wide room.
PWK told me that ...all speakers are corner speakers, the corner can add 6-10 db of output...
50Hz - 20kHz You may want that sub...
But your right, Dream boat Annie on a clean LP did sound good...

You will have to get a new one. The whole driver would have to be rebuilt from back plate on. With out the right gigs.....well it's ugly...
k-77-f is the new number.
1-800-554-7724 parts

Check out ATM fly wear...they should.

YOU DO NOT WANT TO FLY THE LA SCALA!
The cabinet is not built to fly. All the joints in the cabinet are butt-joints with a glue block on the inside of the joint. With a speaker that weights 123 lbs. flying them is just not safe.
I also think that the speaker, although great, is not a good studio monitor.

Is the driver a K-55-M?
If so, Place your hand on the black plastic part on the back of the driver. If this stops the sound, then you may be able to fix the driver.
Look for the glue joint around the outside edge of that black piece. If you find that it has come loose, take a razor knife and cut the glue all the way around the black piece. Once free, lift it up just enough to put some epoxy back under the edge. Then put the piece back in its place and weight it down until the glue dries.
This should stop the sound.
If not, you may need to replace the diaphragm or whole driver.
