  1. Fizzlemizzle, sorry if I jacked your thread. Thanks guys for the replys. The only difference between 1 and 3 is the angle of the sub. The CF-4 is big enough to make sort of a false corner for the Sunfire sub. Therefore, I was wandering if angling the active and passive drivers on the sub tword the wall and CF-4 would improve anything sound wise. I am only a plug and play type person. I do not own or know how to use a meter, and the cancellation issues are way over my head. That is why I was hoping someone had explored somewhat the same placement options.
  2. Even if they are angled in tword your listening position?
  3. Do the sunfire subs have to be placed in the corner? I only have a few options for sub placement in my small room. (Forgive the drawing) Without moving everything, which one seems to be the best?
  4. I purchased one of the Sunfire True EQ Signatures (an upgrade from my old sw12II) from getech. With the few movies I have watched, it feels like my small viewing room (11 x 17) is going to cave in. Please list some of the DVD's that have caused this feeling in your setup.
  5. I am the original owner and I have the manual. The sub is black, and the finish is a 9 out of 10. It still hits after 10 years of service. I am downsizing my home theater, so it has to go. $200 O.B.O. Let me know before I put it on flEbay
  6. I have 1 set of each: 2.2's, 1.2's, and .5's. I am not the original owner of these. All are black, but some of the serial numbers list them as different colors. I have hooked them up, and all are in great working condition. If interested email me an offer because I have no idea what to sell them for.
  7. marems, Not looking to buy new drivers. I have a set of revision 1 CF-4's that have damaged cabinets. I also have 2 sets of revision 3's that are in great codition. Because the revision 1's are supposed to be so much better, I was wandering if I could remove the drivers, networks, and ports from the revision 1's and fit them in a revision 3 cabinet and produce the proper sound. I know that the drivers fit, but would they be acostically correct? I never heard the revision 1's before they were damaged in shipping, so my ears are not a good enough instrument to tell. I was just looking for a conformation that the cabinets, unlike the drivers, did not change through the different revisions.
  8. Would it better to use floorstanding speakers (CF-4's) as rears and side surrounds in a 7.1 set up, or smaller speakers (KV-4's) that you can get up in the air? Meaning; would the seating block the sound coming from behind and beside of you if the speakers are on the floor instead of in the air like in a normal theatre?
  9. Anyone have any experience with these?
  10. Looking for medium oak. Will pay shipping.
  11. Is the cabinet volume in the revision 1 of the CF-4 the same as the cabinet volume in the revision 3? Meaning; can I retro fit the better drivers, network, and ports from a damaged revision 1 cabinet to a good revision 3 cabinet and produce the right sound?
