  1. Hey, i got around 300 feedbacks from Europe and they nearly all love the sound. Even some High End Audio Dealers do use our song for demonstation of very high priced equipment. I readed the comments here and im very surprised that you have problems with the sound. On my 3 equipments its the best record i ever heard with a very big stage, a brutally bass and a flubbergasting transparence. Though i must say that i do use ASR Emitters in two of my equipments. But even in my damned Ford the sound is perfect and every instrument is clear hearable. To the vocals and the singer- he has studied music and is a professionell vocalist so i sended the song to some well known vocalists from the rock business like Ralf Scheepers from Primal Fear (www.primalfear.de ) . And even his statement was that its absolutely fantastic. You must know Hans is singing since a period over 30 years with many experience in bands like DarkStar , Erotica, Velvet Tears and he has a well known Cover Band here in germany, the ULTRALOVERS which are filling big concert halls. So after all this comments i was visiting a lot of hifi friends with different equipments and did some serious listening sessions and i noticed that it was ever the same - if a tube CD Player or a tube amp was working the sound was really non satisfying with a little stage and vocals really do sounded unnatural and "nosy" - i really was falling on my *** last weekend. Its frustrating. But by visiting friends who have serious SS Equipment it sounded so gorgeous that they all wanted to have a copy and they really loved it. I was auditing now with the following speakers with best results: Sonus Faber Cremona Tannoy Kensington plus ST 200 Tannoy M 1 Tannoy System 1200 Tannoy D 700 Tannoy D 900 Tannoy Westminster T.W. plus ST 200 Klipsch RF 7 JBL 5000 TI ALR Jordan 7 ALR Jordan 3 Quadral Titan MK 6 Elac 609 MK 2 JBL L 90 B u W 802 B u W 803 With all this speakers it was sounding perfect - most of them audited with ASR Emitters from different generations. However, our manager was now approving the sound (he only judges with headphones) so we go our way further on the road and will record the album. Definitive we will further do the mixing job with the Klipsch RF 7 ! All in all we have around 500 feedbacks around the world with a quote(voting) "A" by over 70% of the listeners! But we see that in USA nearly nobody loves the sound or the music - so i will perhaps not release the album there. Thanks for your comments! Cheers Werner
  2. Hey Duke, most Monitor speakers are for nearfield or midfield monitoring. I dont like that because there are waves which are too long to be heared in short hearing distances. I prefer monitoring between 5 and 7 meters hearing distance - so that i can audit the music like in a live concert . For me this is easier to work and more sounding reality like. Its much easier to mix the bass range. Cheers Werner
  3. Hey Werner, thanx for feedback! On my equipment the voice sounds warm and full - perhaps because almighty Emitter, i will test that with some other peoples equipment and decide if we chould make the endmix a little bit warmer. Cheers Werner
  4. Hey Duke, yes, you are right. I began with making music in 1981 and in this times Iron Maiden were my personal music gods:) in this old times. And you know what was born in the 80s - people like Bon Yovi combined rock with Synths and more melodies. Perhaps there was my style of musical thinking born. What i did not like from the 80s was the sound of the most CD s - i prefer a dry sound with not too much reverb and not too much gain and sounding more earthstanding like the most newer productions. For example i really love the sound of Sinners: There will be execution or Metallicas St. Anger. Cheers Werner
  5. I have to fully agree with the above. The guy did ask for some opinions and I certainly give him mine, for the simple fact that I'd like him to produce a quality product. I certainly don't want to discourage the guy from taking on this project, which does sound pretty ambitious. I hope he does it for the love of the art instead of finding away to make a quick buck (and we all know the results of "artists" producing albums simply for trying to get popular and make a buck - just turn on the radio to any current "Top-40" station - I rest my case). Seems Beyond Twilight pulled it off quite nicely with thier For the Love of Art and the Making album. Anyway, regardless of what he used in the studio, the resulting track actually did sound quite good on my setup. I went and downloaded the full "uncompressed" version from that link he posted above. I'll have to give it another listen. Hey Dr. Who and Steven, no i not try to make money - this project do cost all my money and energy and its making a dream come true - to create a rock opera about the Genesis. But i need help and input of friends for to create the best possible thing. Why? Because if you are involved in a creating process like me - you are so full of enthusiasm that you are blind for mistakes. I have alived that in the past, i recorded my fiorst album in 1986 in Dupuis Studios Germany with Erotica, its name was "Creatures of steel". In the last days i was listening to this album - 1986 by creating i loved it - today its a shame for me - so many mistakes! I was blind because of my enthusiasm in 1986. Too much reverb, too much gain, too much bass......its only sounded cool but not beiing cool. Today i want to create an album which will be a pleasure in my ears to listen in 20 further years - a timeless Rock Album with a timeless style and timeless theme. I think the bible is timeless. 1986 my themes were Rockn Roll, Sex,more sex and more Rockn Roll - if you know what i mean. Dr. Who, for me it will be the first time in my life that well known rock musicians will play with me together and give me a help on the coming album - i will not disappoint them or blame myself. They are my idols - if i wanted to sell albums i would tell the names of them - but this will be a surprise if the album comes out. This all do cost money which i invest because of making my personal dreams and wishes come true. Steven, i bought the Paradise Album of Virgin Steele you was talking from - its another theme and about Lillith - this is fantasy and as far as i know something about Satans church and Adams first women. The music is not my personal taste- though i do love some Virgin Steel things from the eighties.. However - our theme is another. Here is another link which will work this weekend for download: http://www.musicfiles.homepage.t-online.de/Track1Lauter16bit.wav I hope you all have fun. Cheers Werner
  6. Dear friends, now you can download the full version of our song without data reducing and 70 MB. Its only for this weekend and for my friends and as a big thank you and tribute for your help! http://www.musicfiles.homepage.t-online.de/Track1Lauter16bit.zip Have fun and play it loud! With love Your Werner
  7. Hello Coytee, i nearly overseen your commend. From where are you - TN??? You write that you had both horn versions - are you a dealer ? Or did you sold the Jubilee because of another reason? Its very good to hear from you too, that it was working though not standing in the room corners! Thanx for information! Cheers Werner
  8. Hey friends, if i understand you correct now - it was the first plan , the Anni is only available in Europe. They produced 200 pairs and limited them. And now they sell them in USA? So the limitation will be a fake????? I do not understand? In the first moment i understanded that they are sold in USA without limitation but for the European market with limitation 200. However, thanx for different private mails and offers , i will handle them strictly confidential. Cheers Werner
  9. Hey Buckster, my room has 30 qm and is only for listening music and looking movies. Its 6,6 meters long and 4,5 meters breadth. No furnitures, only the big Hifi Rack and a couch. And yes - i personally also do think that 14.000 Euro is much too much money for a speaker(independent what speaker) but we are living in crazy times. In germany most people do not earn more money on hand in 1 year of work - and we are only talking about some wood and some drivers. You could buy 7 pairs of RF 7 in germany for that price - surely ! Nethertheless im thinking about and want to know your experiences with the Anniversary horn. Cheers Werner
  10. Hey Duke, it shakes balls Aaaahhhh ... I prefer the meeker sound of this .... Hey Duke, i think the old ones had no seperated channels for Lead, Cruch and Clean sound. Its easier to play live with the newer generation i think. Cheers Werner
  11. Dear friends, im thinking hard about to buy a Klipschorn Anniversary though this will be my financial bankrupt. (after my incredible adventures with the RF 7 on my second equipment) Has someone of you such and Anniversary horn? The anniversary has a closed cabinet and i have heard that it is possible to stay it away from the backwalls. I would like to stay it 30 cm from the backwalls away (sidewalls are no problem i can press ist against). Reason for not going directly to the backwalls is a channel at the backwall for the watertubes of the heaters. What is the list price for the Anniversary Horns in other countries and for how much money is it handled in the reality? If these informations are confidential, you can mail me private under: headbanger777@onlinehome.de I will handle the informations strict confidential. In germany the list price is 14.000 Euro and there are not so much rebates possible like im used with other brands and they are limited 200 samples. My problem is that i have exotic Tannoy Westminster horns in the moment . and this speaker is nearly unsellable because of his titanic sizes:) (though a very good one - was satisfied 8 years with them!) They have a 15 inch point source driver and 3 meter folded horns, 99 db efficiency and a closed cabinet incl ST 200 around 1,45 meters high , breadth 1,03 meters and deep around 0,7 meters each! My anxiety is the following: Tannoy Westminster incl. ST 200 can handle 18 hertz - 70.000 hertz. The Klipschorn only can handle 17.000 hertz. Is the Klipschorn able to produce good highs? I fear i will miss a lot in the highs because my ears really do hear the Supertweeters very much beginning by 18.000 hertz. Without the Supertweeters i mis the air between the instruments and room informations about the stage. The Klipsch only goes down to 50 hertz - dont you miss some bass? I know- technical datas are only glibberish and have not too much to say about the sound- but gives me to think. Thanx for input friends! Your Klipsch priest Werner
  12. Hey Steven, of course i didnt understand your posting as insulting! You understand perfect - this is a promotion song we made for: -checking if the msuical stlye mixing is possible for us as musicians and satisfying for listeners - creating a sound - give god a tribute for making this project possible - using it later for bonus track/B side of first single -checking what people will think if they hear such a progressive thing with many soft keyboards combined with a hard guitar - to give a picture of our vision to the musicians who have promised to come for guest playing of the very difficult parts - i do not can manage! (im no Malmsteen or Gerold Hirschler!) - to test if there are differences in taste between different countries and to check up where the album/style will have a chance - to check if we are right with using RF 7 for monitoring (nobody else does as far as im informed) - to get input what we can make better In germany we only got really worshipping for the Track (some hifi dealers do take as reference track!)- but i personally do think by far that there are some better ways to rock and that is only the beginning of a long journey through sound space. So again - thanks your for helping and every other oppinion is welcome! We will give our best ! Your Klipsch priest Werner
  13. Dear Ron, Steve and friends, i thank you all so much for your commends. Many of you did not post in this forum they posted to me private and many people wanted the song and give it an audition. Thank you all for your time! Some of you were sending mails that they want the song - but the mailer demon came back and told that they did not have enough space room in their mail box to eat 12 MB! I really answered on every mail - but not every data transfer was working. It was very interesting for me to read what people in the USA (complete other taste like in Europe) would think about the song. For example nearly every listener from USA stated that he dont like Hansis voice! And nearly all liked the keyboards , guitars, drums, melodies and sound very much. Let me tell you more: I sended the song to 200 friends from Europe . Around 75% gave a feedback and now sit down on your chair and wonder: 1) Most of them stated that Hansi voice is the best of the whole music and that he is a great shouter with a very different and professionell voice. 2) Around a dozen people were not satisfied with the Keyboard solo in this song. They would like to hear a guitar solo instead of. 3) Everybody - without exception liked the sound, too. 4) Some had problems with the message and do hate reliegoius things in songs. 5) Nearly all of the people who gave a feedback answered that they would buy such a song. What i clearly see is that people in Europe and USA do think different and the market will be different. My first fear was that people would say: Fire this damned guitar player:)))))) But nobody was insulting with me Uff! I know Hansi since around 30 years and personally have no problem with his shouting, we wrote surely some thousend songs together in a working period between 1981-1998. Of course im used to his voice since earliest youth. We learned us to know in 1977. Hansi has a classical schooling in singing and in choirs and was singing in many projects here and has an own Coverband (www.Ultralovers.de ) with which he gives concerts at the weekends with big success in clubs around Mannheim. Here mostly the wifes do love his voice. For me it is interesting to hear that people in USA would say he sounds forced, even Tarja Turunen (ex Nightwish) has a CD with his voice and the song Angel from 1986 and was not insulting. To hear him live is always like listening an hurricane through the P.A. system: But i will have a seriously talk about the critics and will give some more pressure behind the voice - we recorded it without any effects - or changes in the sound - absolutely flat - and surely people are not used to hear a rock song with non compressed vocals. I bought an SPL Tube Gold Mike - now we will use the gold monster and give some throttle You must know every band do use such toys -we tryed to avoid that - now we give it a try. Im very happy that you are satisfied with the music - Steves oppinion was very urgent for me - he s listening the same things like me:) Steve - of course give the Mix further to your friends and other bands and mail me about what they are thinking. For me is sure - the RF 7 is the best monitor i ever worked with! We are at the beginning of the project - the song is only for promotion and will come on the B side of a single - not on the album. As i told it was a personal thing in which we said thank you to GOD for making it possible that we will play with well known musicians in soon. I personally stopped making music from 1998 until some weeks ago. Its the fault of Mat Sinner that im reanimated and this first song was composed in one afternoon. We needed 2 days for to find the sounds, 1 day for recording the guitars, 1 day for the bass, 2 days for vocals and drums and Synths and 1 days for mixing- so it was a project of seven days. We will take 9 months time to record the Album which will be much better , i hope! For to create an optimal album its very urgent to hear the oppinions about other music lovers. For me is sure - we must do something better with the voice - an idea - i not had. The lyrics- yes i know Stryper from the 80s! Do they still exist? Steve - do you know Neal Morse (in the earlier days singer of Spock s Beard). I do love his music(much personal experience about Jesus) very much. The album Testimony was a revelation for me and the concert together with Mike Portnoy in dutchland was earthshaking. I personally will not make a worship project - i will tell the story of the old testament of the bible - very great and epic stories with unbelievable adventures - sometimes more excited like Indiana Jones or the Mummy. I have enough from writing about Sex, drugs and Rockn Roll, demon wars, Zombies and such things:) Another thing that could tempt me in the future would be to write a Science Fiction story in the way of a rock opera. Cheers Werner
  14. i don't think price is a factor with a commercial enterprise as recoding studio...... what is a factor, is a flat , neutral , detailed presentation, so the engineer may determine exactly how He want's it to sound ...... Sorry, no matter what you may have read, I don't consider Any home stereo speaker... to have the requirement's of a true Studio Monitor.....a much over used term .... my personal fav, probably due to the hundreds of hours i have using them .... JBL 4430 ...... they pick up an amazing amount of detail that All my Klipsch speakers gloss over Hey Duke, i know the JBL s and i can promise you its nearly impossible to get a good transparence with them. I changed in the old times to Tannoys DMT 15. Im very surprised that in these days some people do work with JBL s in the studio - perhaps they are used to the JBL sound - i dont know. I even had some Hifi speakers from JBL in the beginning of the 90 s - the LX 66 and the 5.000 TI - horrible - both were flying out of my house after a few weeks. The midrange was catastrophic and the highs harsh. I bought them because of good tests and it was a big disappointing for me. Later i readed that there were different versions with different quality on the market - was no good idea to buy cheap in this case............... However the theme JBL is eaten for me, sorry Duke! Cheers Werner
  15. Hey friends, i have some music for you - please read this: http://forums.klipsch.com/forums/thread/807431.aspx Cheers Werner
  16. Hey Dr. Who, im a musician and also a progressive rock player. This Dream Theater concert belongs to my absolutely favourite concerts, i surely sow it 500 times! By the way, there is a new 3 hours concert out with complete classical orchestra......... The Metropolis concert 5 years earlier is also a masterpiece! Cheers Werner
  17. By the way friends, please help out here: http://forums.klipsch.com/forums/807431/ShowThread.aspx#807431 Blessed sunday! Werner
  18. Dear friends, as i told in my introducing thread im a musician working with RF 7 as the best Studio Monitor I ever heard. However my wish is to demonstrate the RF 7 to some very well known musicians in germany and my dream would be that RF 7 will be taken in many studios for reference. Of course if you do a thing by yourself - your enthusiasm has no frontiers Yesterday i got the MP 3 version with 12 MB from our song "Signs of hope". We recorded that one at first because it was easy to play for us - and we recorded this with only 2 musicians, Hansi and me. Hansi is singing, playing keyboards and drums, i was playing all guitars (4) and the bass. We wanted to create a new sound - a natural one - not these plastic sounds with much compressors and limiters you will find in the big rock productions today with constantly 0 db peak. Our first problem was that with our 16 track machine the origin mixed with RF 7 had a never ending dynamic around by far over 120 db and that we wanted to record on CD - 16 bit CD format is limited at 90 db! So we did some compromises ( the master is ballshaking) and made a 90 db 16 bit record. Dirk Jambor from truetracrec.de was helping us out to solve the problem with his ultra expensive Lavry stuff and his know how. Dirk was working for the greatest in business, even in rock like Doro, Faith no More, Slayer and so on but many Jazz and classic, too. He is the man! And we are unendless thankful for his help. Before that we made a on 6 MB reduced version for friends via e mail - but sounding by far not we way we want. Now - thanx to Dirk - we have a 12 MB MP 3 version for our friends where you can feel and hear the character of the earthstanding sound we created with RF 7. We took this song because of mixing 4 guitars - 2 different for rhythm- 2 different for solos-which also play two different melodies at the same time!!!- a bass playing another melody, drums and synths is a really hard harakiri job for the sound engineer! The Martial Art is not to loose the transparence! Our oppinion is that without the help of the glorious RF 7 it never would have been possible. However, the job is finished and the MP 3 version is really a good one for MP 3, i think, but takes 12 MB place. Now i need the help of you all. We created a new sound which you surely will not await. Our dream is that the people who listen feel that we played in a cellar, that the vocalist had the dust of cigarettes on his lips, that the guitar is really sounding woody and that much energy was in the air. We think it do sound very live! Before i get in contact with other musicians here i want to know your oppinion about the sound. Next thing is that we are very hard experimenting with different musical styles and want to combine much things. For example we start a little bit like Iron Maiden would do and fall after this in a Ghospel sound - change in 1 second to a Hard Rock thing - and then comes a Hammond with a keyboard solo like the old Eloy - break - guitar solo with different guitars and different melodies in the same time in my own way - break - power rock- break little bit Metal and a helicopter at the end:) The song is about ourselves - and a thank you and tribute to god, who helped us out a lot with cool wonders but surely no religious thing. I want to know from you all what you think about this hard mix between different musical styles - because our project will be the following - we want to make a progressive rock musical telling about the Genesis and in this musical we will work together with many other musicians and will mix dozens of styles. Our wish is to create really a different sound from all things which are hyped - not to be a copy of someone. I have never seen in a forum so many mind open and different people like here living in peace together - so i would ask you to bring me your personal input. You only must send me your mail adress at headbanger777@onlinehome.de and i will send you the 12 MB data package if your mailbox can eat. My questions are: 1) What do you think about this new created sound? (bass, highs, transparence) 2) How does it feel on/with your equipment? 3) What do you thnk about the mixing of the styles? 4) What do you think about the music? 5) What do you think about the voice? 6) Would you buy such music on CD if it comes out? 7) Ask your friends and family what they think about the thing. Thanx for your help and honestly input! Werner and Hans
  19. Hey Duke, ASR is not saying much to that - they only say much bigger 1.000. A german magazine stopped by measuriog over 10.000 !!!! and this was only little Emmi 2 plus. Cheers Werner
  20. Hey Arky, not : RF 7 from Arkansas - the earthquake from Arkansas ))) German High Enders are hard insulting about the Klipsch terminals, thin wood and such things - im the man who tries to explain these F....heads that Klipsch is the manufacture of Paul Klipsch and that Paul Klipsch was building : No Bulls.... speakers! The Klipsch terminals maybe do not look very attractive - but for my bananas they made the best contact ever. The cable is fixed perfectly! Im used to ultra expensive WBT Terminals from my Tannoys - they look good - but my bananas are not really fixed! The other thing is the thin wood of the Klipsch - this brings a very fast deflacting of the vibration energy and is much better like the try to damp a speaker to death with a tank - lid. Some bad mouths do say the feeds of the RF 7 are plastic crap - they are crazy, because the polypropylene construction of the Klispch follows the high speed deflacting system of the cabinet. I explained to the german f...heads that for example Esoteric uses this material for the CMK 4 motor bridges of their VRDS systems for the CD drive units. Nearly most expensive stuff on market and used from Krell, Wadia and Teac. The RF 7 follows perfect the way of construction of an musical instrument like a violine or a guitar. It has a perfect woody sound, full and rich with overtones - so can perfectly produce the air between instruments. The X over is directly constructed in one part with the speaker terminal, see here: Over that you can see on the picture the perfectly construction of the cross beam - made exactly in the same way you will find in a acoustic guitar! The X over is positioned in the center where the electronic parts (which are very sensitive for vibrations) do nearly no vibration because energy follows the way out to the feeds (spikes). So never do use the rubber feeds - always do use the Klipsch spikes ! Or you destroy the princip of the RF 7 and change from deflacting in damping at the feeds - which will give the same uncorrect bassy sound other speakers on the market do. The inner cabling of the RF 7 is very good stuff made by monster - stiff! This monster cable is used in the Monster Rock guitar cable - best guitar cable on earth - used by Metallica and other big audiophile Metal Bands. In germany you pay 80 Euro for one cable!!!!!!!!!!!! But best thing is no braze point at the drivers - the fix stuck in system is the best - and also used in 30.000 Euro Tannoy speakers (Kingsom/Westminster Royal) for example or in professionell studio monitors like the DMT 15 or 215. There is no chemical changing between. My english - im sorry - is too poor to go in details for this subject. But we did a lot of tests with silver brazing and stucking - stucking is always the best longtime solution if the plugs do not corrode. Next important thing is that the RF 7 has nearly no inner damping for the midrange - you will find the S damping system whith a perfect formed channel to get a clean sound and with optimal output point for the bass (yes the postioning of the bass port is perfect would it be 2 cm deeper you would have a bassy and dull sound some cm higher it would colour the midrange) The RF 7 is a very well planned product made from some genius research workers. I also tested for a long time the holo profile of the faceplate. If your hearing distance - like mine is - over 5 meters - this profile is perfectly matched to make a much better 3 d stage. You really can not hear the speakers. At 5 Meter hearing distance the speaker is complete disappearing ! Its Magic. Though all things are cheap made - they are best made - for the sound There are so much more things i could tell about the RF 7 and its magic construction - its amazing. I made a lot of trouble in german forums and was throwed out in some because of my fight for this speaker. Most germans are intolerant and they feel - in first instance the dealers of course- that the RF 7 is disturbing the market and that no speaker from other brands independent from price can beat it! Its a true speaker - without nonsense - without Marketing gags - without voodoo - and a way for the consumer to come in hifi nirwana without spending a million bucks. In the next time i will demonstrate the Klipsch to some urgent german musicians and im sure that this speaker will be heared in many professionell studios in soon. I personally mixed the first song from our new genesis project with the RF 7 - will do with the whole album and for the future - and i never was so satisfied with a natural, unlimited and uncompressed Rock sound. Even the 12 MB MP 3 version mastered by Dirk Jambor from www.truetracrec.de (the man who made Faith No More, Doro, Slayer and many more) is mindblowing. The good thing is - if a song is mixed with RF 7 it will sound wonderful on every equipment. For me it was very urgent to create a new Rock Sound which was never on the market - a sound which do not sounds like a studio - a sound which sounds like kicking *** and being played life in a smoky cellar room where you hear the cigarettes out of the vocalists voice and smell the wood of the Marshall. I wanted asskicking drums - no flat and compressed drums and a Warwick bass attack which you feel in your balls in combination with breathtaking highs. This mission was only possible because of the Klipsch RF 7. The non data reduced CD version is the most inimitable record i ever audited in rock and much better like the MP 3 - you even hear the difference via telephone! You definitive will not audit a typical studio sound - you will think your are in one room with the musicians - though - only 2 people were playing in all instruments! Of course my enthusiasm knows no frontiers:) Until now everybody i sended the MP 3 file was full of enthusiasm independent what equipment he audited! ( i sended it to more like 200 people in the last days) I never have heard that a record from another musician was loved so much on every equipment. I only can say: Thanks god for the Klipsch - my favourite tool in creating a good sound. And if in other forums on the world people are insulting about Klipsch - give them my adress for reference! Cheers Werner
  21. Hey friend, my personal listening experience was that not the watts are the urgent thing. Most speakers today have a good efficiency, only a handful of monsters and electrostatics need more than a handful of watts on the paper. Im used to speakers with efficiency between 94 and 102 db in the last decades. I even had 400 Watts Melos tube Mono Blocks but got nearly no bass out of my 15 inch Westminster hornspeaker with 99 db efficiency. Another tube amp form Cayin , the TI 88 - was beating the dust out of the drivers with 25 watts! But it sounded flat in the midrange and highs and the speaker was colouring. Though it had even more bass like a big Pass X 600 SS or am AVM M3 or a Luxman M 383 or a NAD S 200! I tried so many things and talked with dozends of researching engineers, they all explained that the watt battle is the wrong way because the damping factor says how realistic an amp can punch a speaker. In the moment i have the ASR Emitters (since 1999) and they really do punch the speakers with a killing damping factor and perfect control. For my Klipsch RF 7 i also tested a SS watt giant from Tannoy Professionel line - was sounding horrible and dull. I also tested SS Mark Levinson 383 - was the opposite - sounding harsh that i was nearly before getting the blood out of my ears. ??? Good result with lower level did a Reußenzehn tube amp.(i forgot the type a friend was bringing it into my house) But best results had the Emitters 1 and 2 with a never ending damping factor. Ask Werner Enge, he hast audited the little Emmi in my house. I think everybody should test different amps and take the amp where you can not hear the speaker - only the musicians. A perfect 3 D stage and a sound which suits to the room acoustic and the personal taste. I was very surprised in the last decades that nearly every amp has perfect measuring datas in the prospect - but the sound is totally different, i can not understand why amps make so much differences with most speakers. Man - change a tube in your amp - and you fall on your ***! I experimented in the past with some Lorenz tubes and such Retro things - was very surprised. Im no engineer - but i do what my ears and my heart say. The only thing i understand is - watts are not so urgent -.exception is very very low watts - for example 5 watts for a 85 db efficiency speaker -can make a problem:) Cheers Your Klipsch Priest
  22. Hey, i use the ASR Emitters 1 for the RF 7. But im sorry, they are very high priced. More information for the USA you can get here: http://www.fanfareintl.com/ or in Stereophile 10/2006 - they write there about Emitter 2. Cheers Werner
