  1. Hi all,

I am willing to ship at buyers expense. Please understand that I don’t check this site every day and may not respond rapidly.

It looks like carltheSS40 has dibs then NiceSystem.

I’ll check my PM’s and see how things progress.

  2. I have two (2) RSW-15’s that both suffered water damage and have blown amplifiers and damaged cabinets. All of the drivers are fine with zero damage either cosmetically or mechanically. I also have one of the grills. Not sure of pricing on any of this stuff so make offers if interested, it’s time for me to get rid of these things and clear some space in my basement.

    Thank you!

  3. One pair in fantastic condition (non-matching serial numbers) for sale. $3500.00 OBO. Located in Berkley, Michigan outside Detroit.

I’d like to sell these ONLY to buy the 60th Anniversary models also for sale on this site, otherwise I would keep them. Call with questions and/or pictures.

  4. I just replied to calhockey. I’m only interested in giving one up right now since I do still have an RSW-15 that I use in my living room. The other two were damaged in a flood, but the grills are fine.

    And no broken pegs!

  5. Hey calhockey,

I have a spare one of these. Contact me to set something up.

I have two non-functioning RSW-15’s that I’m trying to figure out what to do with. Thinking about using the drivers for an IB sub in the future.

  6. You will probably end up with an electrician checking the wiring in your house for damage.

I used to do insurance repairs and used this test a few times to look for hidden damage to the conductor/insulation.

Good luck, man! You're gonna need it!

    Megohmmeter

    Megohmmeter M1101M.

Megohmmeter (sometimes referred to as a megger) is a special type of ohmmeter used to measure the electrical resistance of insulators. Insulating components, for example cable jackets, must be tested for their insulation strength at the time of commissioning and as part of maintenance of high voltage electrical equipment and installations. For this purpose megohmmeters, which can provide high DC voltages (typically in ranges from 500 V to 2 kV) at specified current capacity, are used. Acceptable insulator resistance values are typically 1 to 10 megohms, depending on the standards referenced.

  7. We have a Flex with the Ecoboost, which is completely different from the Ecoboost in the Escape, and we love it!

I did drive an Escape with the Ecoboost and was pleasantly surprised by the performance. The "Eco" part is comical if you are truly into achieving maximum gas mileage but the "boost" part helps an engine that would normally feel sluggish perform quite nicely.

Ours is a 3.5 liter, 365HP V6 with all wheel drive that can embarrass most V8 powered vehicles. And you wouldn't even know it.

I would encourage you to consider buying it. We have enjoyed all of our Ford cars. Good luck!

  8. Hey Neil, I just picked up a Sonos Connect and a Parasound ZAmp from Alma's to do just what you described. I put my AW650's on speaker stands from Guitar Center ($40/pair) and hooked it up and it's freaking sweet! There is no Bluetooth involved....all wifi.

Stop by anytime for a listen.
