What I liked most on the DVDs was when Jerry commented on the fact that they placed Elvis at the piano in the famous picture of the four of them. (Jerry, Elvis, Johnny Cash & Carl Perkins)
We all know that it should have been Jerry seated at the piano.

It's Klipsch Magic.!!!
Please remember that our ears are human. They can only hear so well. How much better can other speakers sound compared to Klipsch. Could they actually sound so much better that they are worth the added thousands of dollars? I don't think so. Utopia in audio/video is an elusive, impossible goal to achieve. Seeking it will just drive you crazy. (That's how I got to be the way that I am)

Better. (obviously, or I would have changed it!). It produces a fuller sound, probably because of two woofers.

Do you have any way to measure the frequency sound levels of one vs. two? I'm interested in whether you are experiencing any frequency cancellation with the two speakers side-by-side. Some say that it is not a good idea to use two of a speaker model for the center channel. Just wondering.
I've always heard this also, but, if you go to the Lucasfilm THX website, it is recommended that the rear channels be placed side by side directly in the center rear, firing forward for movies and turned 90 degrees away from each other for "gaming".
Yea but what does this "Lucas" guy really know?

We treated rattlesnake bites quite often at Loma Linda Med Center. There's a TeeVee program entitled "Venom E.R." that was made at that facility. My wife lost a pet dog to one. I recall a leisurely family day at my home in Orange County Ca. I looked down and a rattler had coiled up right beneath my Moms chair. Must have been a birds of a feather deal. To keep her from freaking and probably getting bit I calmly asked her to help in the kitchen. Once out of range I turned her around and showed her the peril. Then she freaked. Y'all may have heard that. It was the summer of 94 I think. Any remember a spine curdling squeal of eminent death around that time?
Yes, Yes I heard it. It was more like a squeal that a yelp. I remember asking my wife "what is that sound?" She told me she thought it was a caw-caw bird mating.

I can't think of a single woman who wouldn't like the thought of a massive fifteen incher moving in and out...it's just not possible.

Some day, I'll talk my parents into letting me take up a whole room with these...or maybe I can talk them into letting me use the living room. Oh well...I'm completely fine with my stuff how it is now, just because these blow my old computer speakers out of the water.
What you need to do is just set everything up in the living room while the parents are asleep or outta the house. At least it worked when I was still living at home. [
].....and put some soothing music on when your parents return home. Offer them a drink and a comfortable seat. Offer to do the dishes for them. They will come around.

Killer bedroom system, was expecting to see some ladies on your bed with a system like that. You know.. just studying of course.
My friends told me I need to bring girls over here to watch movies, then they'll realize that the only place ti sounds better is in the theater, so they'll keep wanting to come back. It sounds pretty foolproof to me...although the "sweet spot" can't be achieved if I'm lying on the bed in a position compatible with a lady's presence...
Oh the "sweet spot" can be achieved alright.
When I get the girl over there, the sweet spot will be acheived alright.

I was/am an Oilers fan. Same thing happened to them. Idiot owner moved em off.
Now we have the Texans. They are not so good, hard to fall in love with a new team somehow. I still like the Houston Oiler's theme song....
A team should not be able to be moved around like that. Colts are from Baltimore. Browns are from Cleveland (new one back and all). Oilers are Houston's team. LA doesn't even have a team???? Huge market there... Maybe I'll start one there. Cardinals are from SL. Dodgers should be in Brooklyn. Who has ever heard of Jazz being played in SLC?
Just my opinion of course, no need to ruffle feathers.... I just miss my Oilers.

Hey Paul, how much oil is there in Tennessee anyway? How many horse farms are there in Indianapolis? What a farce. The professional sports leagues need to prevent team relocations except in very rare occasions like the Montreal Expos.

FWIW, I use a pair of "side by side" LaScala's as the "center channel". I've tried three different ways: hooked as conventional L/R; hooked in series (positive to positive, negative to positive and then negative back to an AVR amp with a "center"); and in parallel with a normal amp set to L/R combined as mono. The result.... I cannot really tell the qualitative difference. It's there, but I cannot describe it. It's just "different". I just left them as L/R without any further changes. The amps and LCD TV are above them.
Very interesting arrangement.

I built my system for music. Loud music. However, it plays movies quite well.
The difference for me was to create 7 identical full-range speakers plus subs as needed.
The f-113 is definitely a musical sub. It is unbelievably musical. And it can handle special effects in movies with no problem.
I never thought that I could afford a JL Audio product. Then I found a really good JL Dealer with surprisingly low prices.

Have you ever come across someone who bought $15,000 - 30,000 speakers who didn't say that they sounded just great?
It is a self-fulfilling prophesy for bragging rights.
The almighty dollar drives so much in this hypocritical world.
Those stores that talk bad about Klipsch are just dissssing their competition.
