  1. They do. BDI AVION series. With the center drawer removed the RC-64ii is going to fit perfectly. It is the perfect height and width. I will post pics when I get my new setup but it's going to be another couple weeks unfortunately.
  2. I know we're off topic here but Corvettes handle amazingly. Ever ride in a C6 Zo6 and you may change your mind. One car on my wish list
  3. I say go with the Emotiva. I got the XPA-5 and it woke my RF-83s up. They sounded much cleaner and better at all volumes. I was usng my Denon 4308 before that and it sounded pretty good but not nearly as good. I too am getting the RF-7iis/RC-64ii and am glad I have the Emotiva to power them. Also, Emotiva has great customer service. I broke a RCA plug the day I got my amp (I tripped on a cable and nearly ripped it out). I told them what happened and they said, "Accidents happen, we'll fix that for you at no cost." I had to pay shipping there and that's all. They paid to ship it back to me. I was very impressed.
  4. That is a thing of beuaty! Very nice! Have you seen the Astock cherry in person and if so, how much lighter was it then yours?
  5. That's great news! Definitely post some pics when you have time. Congrats again!!!
  6. Vanns.com doesn't have restocking fees if returned within somethng like 2 weeks after you recieved them. You just pay return shipping. They will price match but you have to call them. Great company to deal with! I returned a sub that I wasn't satisfied with for a full refund no questions asked. Vanns is awesome!
  7. I am going to buy them from Vanns. Vanns accepts returns if you weren't satisfied with them. If you want to go to an authorized dealer just type in your zip code on the dealer locater on the Klipsch home page and it will tell you who carries what. Pacific Sales had the RCF-82ii to demo but they didn't have the RF-7iis so I am going to be buying them without having heard them. Many will frown upon that but I already know I am going to love them. I have not actually heard the 82s but have heard models below and above them and those all sounded great so I would imagine they do too. I did briefly own a RC-62ii and it sounded great. I have a problem with buying and selling gear so it wasn't around too long. Hopefully this next setup will stick around as long as my RF-83s did (about 5 years). Good luck with your decision
  8. Wish I could help you out because I live in the bay area too (Redwood City). I will have the RF-7ii/RC-64ii setup in a couple weeks if you wanted to hear those. My wife may end up killing me when she sees how big they are but we'll worry about that then. I sold my RF-83s and said I would be getting something smaller so...They weigh less and are shorter so I guess I can argue that.
  9. Yes I am. I am going to pull the trigger any day now but I keep thinking I will find a better deal but it's not looking that way. I contacted Vanns and they said they would match the price ASD quoted me. I'm sure ASD is a great company to deal with but I have dealt with Vanns before and really like their customer service. Since the bstock rc-64ii seems like it's hard to get right now, I am just going to get Astock RF-7ii/RC-64ii. If they are too light next to my dark cabinet, I will be dying or staining them. When you get all your speakers together it would be great to see some comparison pictures on the finishes to compare side by side. Only one more day for you! For me it's like Christmas when I'm waiting for something in the mail, especially speakers. I'm excited for you. Good luck sleeping tonight.[]
  10. I don't really think it's nit picking to want your speakers to match but thats my opinion. Like you said though, it's still going be awesome! Congrats
  11. Just called Mike, he said that there's a good chance it is indeed A-stock cherry color. He told me that they did have a few b-stock color left the other day but if they ran out, they automatically bump it up to the a-stock color. Which is fine I guess but I would of liked to of known before they shipped it out so I could of seen if I could of waited a little bit longer to get the darker cherry color. It's cool that they bump it up to Astock for the same price but they should at least inform you about it first to make sure that's waht you want. Let us know what happens. Either way you are going to have an awesome setup!
  12. Cviper what's the status on your center? Did they have the Bstock?
  13. As I stated above, they sounded very good as surrounds in my old system.
  14. I did that (best offer) but I got a better quote over the phone. Just from looking at pictures on here of a and bstock RF-7iis it does look to be quite a few shades different. I think it would be a very noticable difference in person. You should give them a call for sure to see what you are really getting. You already ordered the fronts in cherry bstock so I'm not sure if you'd want to go with the black center. The astock cherry may still be a better match than black and cherry but that would be your preferance. Hopefully they got more bstock rc-64iis and this won't be an issue!
  15. I spoke with Mke and Eric on two seperate occasions last week and they said that. They said that then I asked so what about your ebay ads with all bstock? They said they just leave that on there and send an a stock center instead. They also told me that they were getting more bstock RF-7iis this week but no RC-64ii bstock. Maybe that has changed since last week. Let me know what you find out because if they do have the bstock center I may go that route because I prefer the darker cherry.
  16. They told me they were all out of the b-stock RC-64ii and that they would sell me an a-stock for the same price if I bought the RF-7iis as well. It may not matter to you, but you may be getting an a-stock center that is supposedly a much lighter shade of cherry than the b-stock cherry. Just giving you a heads up. I will be ordering all a-stock just for that reason because I want all 3 speakers to match...
  17. I used the rf-15s as surrounds for a while and they worked very well for that. I hooked them up up front just out of curosity and wasn't impressed but I was used to my RF-83s. I have a tiny living room right now and the wife wasn't having that so I got rid of them and got some RB-61s instead. As surrounds[Y] as Fronts[N]
  18. That sounds like a pretty good deal but I do think you'd be much happier with the RF-83s/RC-64. If you got the RF-3s/RC-3 you will more than likely end up upgrading and you would have been better off just getting what you really wanted in the first place. That's my opinion and I tend to do that with everything, not just speakers. I am building a 69 Camaro and spent WAY too much $ on my Forgeline wheels, but I knew I would eventually buy them anyways so why not just get what you want from the get go. I had to save up and wait a while to get them but was sooo worth it!
  19. I really enjoyed my RF-83s and would highly recommend them. That being said, I wouldn't rule out the RF-63s either. I have heard them as well and they sound very good too. I would go with the best deal you can find if it were between those two. I just got the "Upgrade Bug" and sold all my gear to get the RF-7ii and RC-64ii which would still fit in your budget by the way, if you were willing to hold off on the surrounds and sub. 3k shipped for front stage, A-grade. I have not heard the RF-82iis so I cannot comment on them from personal experience but just by looking, I would imagine that you would be happier with RF-63s or 83s. Good luck with your decision!
  20. I keep looking for the best deal and it seems like ASD is the way to go right now. Congrats on your purchase. Lets see them pics!
  21. I keep looking for the best deal and it seems like ASD is the way to go right now. Congrats on your purchase. Lets see them pics!
  22. Congrats!!! I am going to order mine very soon. Still debating on color. Definitely post pics when you get them set up. I like the darker color of the cherry b-stock but they don't have any more RC-64iis in the b-stock so they wouldn't match. I may just end up going with black
  23. I have owned the RSW-12 and it sounded very good. I have heard the RSW-15 and it also sounded very good. However, neiter one even came close to the SVS pb-12+2. The SVS is a far better bang for your buck imo...that being said, if you found a good deal on an RSW, you will be happy with that as well.
  24. I actually went the opposite way, had a svs 12/2 and in my basement it preformed poorly, instead went to dual rw12ds, now ill be getting a ed a7-350 curious to see the results That is the first time I have heard of someone not liking the SVS PB-12 +2. Did you have the 1000 watt amp? The one I had sounded incredible.
